I really hope my kids get me one of these to show me what they really think of me this Mother's Day.

The specs holder - I quite like the idea of it, but it reminds me of the very crude objets d'art I made in woodwork class when I was 12.

The Mother's Day offerings are vile.

lovebeyondwords · 28/01/2016 00:15

This is actually the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Just in from work and trying not to laugh out loud for fear of waking the little darlings!! Too funny, keep them coming. Grin

GloGirl · 28/01/2016 13:06

I can't actually work out what one of these saY's. Any clues to the heart warming phrase?

GloGirl · 28/01/2016 13:08

OMG!!!! My inlaws bought my DH one of them glasses holders for Christmas!!!!

MagpieCursedTea · 28/01/2016 13:48

GloGirl as far as I can't tell it says "for the friends the support the mum you are love you"
Which makes no sense.

liz70 · 28/01/2016 13:54

I'm guessing it should be:

"For the friendship,
The support,
The mum you are,
I/we love you."

Maybe the missing words/letters are just out of sight on the photo?

Purplerain067 · 28/01/2016 14:13

OMG some of these things are truly dreadful!!

Purplerain067 · 28/01/2016 14:14

SweetieDrops · 28/01/2016 16:11

Shoes with random cutouts of cartoons glued on anyone?

fastingmum123 · 28/01/2016 17:31

I got given one of these things. It's a frame with scrabble letters making the children's, dps and my name. My youngest dos name is touching the frame on both sides as it is 8 letters long. The whole thing is mounted on purple glittery paper with a heart sticker on in the corner.

Hamiltoes · 28/01/2016 17:31

Does anyone actually know anyone who buys this sort of thing

Yes!! A friend got me a set of glitter covered wine glassed and mini bottles for my wedding 😂 I put them under the sink never to be seen again and DD who was then 3 caught sight of the blue one, decided it was Elsatastic and poured some milk into it.

The bloody think looked like a watery ashtray by the time she'd done 😷Grin
