Haha. You certainly needed to clarify your gender 😜

whatdoIget · 22/01/2016 17:21

Cute though!

ChampaleSocialist · 22/01/2016 17:22

I wish I could show you one I have of DC1, I call it the Smug Photo. When I look at it I hear Kryton (Red Dwarf) cry Smeeeeg! I keep it in the Blackmail Album.

whatdoIget · 22/01/2016 17:22

It's just brought back a memory of my friend telling me that her boyfriend saw a school photo of her on the wall at her mum's and asked if it was her brother? She said yes Grin

GoEasyPudding · 22/01/2016 17:22

You were a Poppet! I had a similar hair do!

DamsonInDistress · 22/01/2016 17:23

I would have totally said you were a boy Blush

liinyo · 22/01/2016 17:23

That is pretty bad, but I see your crappy school photo and raise you this!

Elledouble · 22/01/2016 17:25

Oh bless you! I bet your folks still loved you though Wink

hilbil21 · 22/01/2016 17:27

Before I had braces my teeth were quite squint so my mum had said to smile without showing too much of them. I clearly didn't pull it off haha X

Years ago my younger DS had school photo taken and the company gave us the prints for free
They were so bad
My daughter and I still cry with laughter when we think about them
DS found out the photos when he came back at Christmas and he destroyed them!!!!

hilbil21 · 22/01/2016 17:28

Liinyo I don't think yours is too bad!

Hester that's lovely Smile

MitzyLeFrouf · 22/01/2016 17:35

Oh OP I love it. So bad but so cute.

Is that a mum haircut? I had similar.

MitzyLeFrouf · 22/01/2016 17:36

liinyo I'm shore East London is full of hipsters who'd love to look just like that!

CaptainCrunch · 22/01/2016 17:37

I think you look gorgeous.

seagreengirl · 22/01/2016 17:38

You're both very sweet. Mine were awful , the worst thing being our dreadful home haircuts. We actually had our hair cut at the hairdressers if I remember rightly fifty years ago, but my mum couldn't stop trimming bits off at home, my fringe often ended up about an inch long!

CaveMum · 22/01/2016 17:38

I've got a cracker somewhere aged about 12. I had thick NHS specs, one of those early-90s wide headbands and I'm obviously trying to surprise a fit of the giggles because my smile is like this:

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 22/01/2016 17:39

Aww. So cute. There's no way I'm putting a school picture up though. I look awful on them. I know everyone says that but I really do.

StealthPolarBear · 22/01/2016 17:40

Test

StealthPolarBear · 22/01/2016 17:41

Ah not working. If anyone can see my profile there's a picture of ds's bounty picture. He's a gorgeous boy and was a gorgeous baby. In the bounty pic he looks like an angry alien frog species

wiccamum · 22/01/2016 17:42

Oh I love old school photos! Such hope, such optimism....such wonky fringes! Don't feel bad, in one of mine I look like a character from The Dark Crystal (remember that film!). I looked like some kind of pointy little elf...and I'm ginger! No way I'm posting that one up here x

hilbil21 · 22/01/2016 17:43

I can't remember if my mum cut it it certainly looks like it lol x

OP posts:
pictish · 22/01/2016 17:45

That's definitely a mum cut.
You are very sweet btw. x

breezeharbour · 22/01/2016 17:47

I think it's a really sweet photo OP. I don't think children need to look "girly" or "boyish", I have photos of my DD that might not look flattering (and some she does look like a boy) but I love them and they're adorable!
