for putting super glue onto the seat of a DISABLED toilet??!

Read the story earlier, apparently the two teens are aged 16-18, and some poor 4yo girl went in after them and had the skin ripped from the back of her legs!
No doubt these two little twats will get a lecture and a wrist slap.

SecondViola - I wasn't thinking of teaching, I was thinking in terms of punishment! Teaching would be getting them to sit on a toilet covered in superglue.

MooneyWormtailPadfootProngs · 04/01/2016 22:40

Of course it's serious.

TheSecondViola · 04/01/2016 22:41

Well we don't do that in civilised countries. There are plenty of countries to do but I wouldn't want to live in any of them.

SuckingEggs · 04/01/2016 22:42

It is serous. Try it on your next lip trip (on yourself). You'll see.

SuckingEggs · 04/01/2016 22:42

*loo ffs

lorelei9 · 04/01/2016 22:44

Second - you do realise I'm not actually planning to punch them myself? And I'm not fronting a campaign called "punch teens to tackle wrongdoing"?

FFS, I'm angry about something that's effectively a hate crime and an assault. I think that's fair enough, especially given that if they are found, likely naff all will happen to them.

I bet those 2 girls have been watching this.

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 04/01/2016 22:46

Jenj, I'm not sensitive, trust me

I just believe there's a difference between mad and bad, that's all. to me this is bad behaviour and if they have any mental health issues surely what they need is treatment

Griphook · 04/01/2016 22:46

You might not think it's the point but I'm wondering if the perpetrators should have been in the disabled toilets and whether the four year old should have been there.

Her disability or lack of is completely irrelevant. The story is not to do with disability. People with a disability don't have to declare it unless they want to.

Of course its serious. You ever accidentally get glue on your fingers and they stick? The glue burns the skin a bit and its a bugger to get off.

Imustgodowntotheseaagain · 04/01/2016 22:49

Wasn't there a 'prank' by two teenaged girls recently which ended in an elderly lady in hospital with 2 broken wrists after they pushed the escalator emergency stop? Are we having an outbreak of utterly selfish and criminally stupid behaviour?

Crazybaglady · 04/01/2016 22:51

I read that it was squirted on the baby change matt too?!

Little cunts would have been skinned alive if one of my kids had been hurt by them Angry

Walkingintheraindrops · 04/01/2016 22:53

The article linked from the Exeter times was all the more calmer Smile it sounds awful for the poor girl but describes her coming out the loo herself crying and having a red raw bum. No indication she even needed medical treatment. From the tone of earlier posts I was expecting skin grafts and the like Shock

ilovesooty · 04/01/2016 22:54

I remember the escalator incident too. I know I was considering the level of opportunity to commit these acts but I am more than ready to concede that the fact that people want to commit them at all is appalling and in fact the main point.

Walkingintheraindrops · 04/01/2016 22:54

"Course they deserve a punch, too many people thinking the can do fucking stupid things these days and just get away with it, it's disgusting"

Fucking stupid things like punching someone?

Sadly things like this have always happened. They just weren't plastered all over Facebook

helensburgh · 04/01/2016 22:55

It's just awful. Unfortunately v the mum.of the child gas changed her story a few times.
I dare say it happened and it's dispicable however I'm not sure of the mums motives in going public.

lorelei9 · 04/01/2016 22:57

Imust - yes there was
www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/stockport-asda-oap-broken-arms-10629238

I don't see how anyone can be that thick that they don't realise there's a major chance of injury when the button is pressed. And calling it a "prank gone wrong" suggests that it's potentially harmless, not the way to teach anyone to do anything.

I don't think we do enough about this sort of thing but it can be because the person involved can't face it. My friend's mum broke her hip after being hit by some stupid teenager doing a bike stunt over a hill without seeing if anyone was there. She had surgery twice. It was in a small village where she lives so it wouldn't have been too much trouble to find him (which my friend and I would have done for her) but she couldn't face it as she was so unwell.

helensburgh · 04/01/2016 22:57

Lots of discrepancies and changes.
She initial Said child walked out the loo saying she'd been stuck. Then it became ripped off skin. Then the disabled toilet part was removed to just toilet.

SoupDragon · 04/01/2016 23:04

Yes, the teenage girls did something despicable.

However, the girl recovered over the weekend so some of the descriptions here are a little hysterical.

I would hope that snyone who actually punched someone for doing this would be prosecuted for assault.

Mmmmcake123 · 04/01/2016 23:04

Mum could be being misquoted. I think a lot of journalism has hit an all time low in terms of sensationalism in order to keep their brands alive.

RabbitSaysWoof · 04/01/2016 23:05

Evil bitches. The staff at that Mcdonalds sound like they handled it well, I'm pleased they called the police and didn't treat it as a prank.

Walkingintheraindrops · 04/01/2016 23:06

There is no journalism, just people searching for boring events in the lives of boring people on FB. And of course, finish the article with a paragraph about what unconnected strangers in Twitter think about it. Job done

Theworldmakesnosense · 04/01/2016 23:09

Always some idiot who thinks they can take the moral high ground when people get angry in cases like this. I'm sure if it was your child that you wouldn't want to physically hurt these 'girls' or 'pond life' as I would like to call them

Is that directed at me?
