Oh my fricking fuck! Why do any of you care?

Diddlydokey · 02/01/2016 20:54

Nah. Brody however...

Kendall looked awesome here

TaliZorah · 02/01/2016 20:54

I suppose it was a bit selfish of me really to assume that just because I made sure I was informed, everyone has. sooty thinking about it the "harm" from additional counselling that's not needed is less than letting someone get surgery who isn't competent so while it might be annoying, I can see why it word be useful.

out really? If you don't mind, why did they regret having an ELCS? When I was researching it someone told me "loads of people regret their VB no one regrets their ELCS" and it stuck in my head so I would be interested to know why. Message me if is too off topic, I'm purely bring nosy

Alisvolatpropiis · 02/01/2016 20:55

M8

I don't particularly care, just passing time on a Saturday evening. People can have opinions without passionately caring about the topic at hand.

ilovesooty · 02/01/2016 21:01

Fair enough Tali

It's all about people's well being at the end of the day isn't it?

Outaboutnowt · 02/01/2016 21:12

tali It is off topic but I'll post it anyway! Then the tangent will be over

She was really worked up with fear when pregnant and was really worried about the pain, length of labour, tearing etc (I think she had heard a few too many horror stories) but afterwards she had a few complications included an infection in her scar. She wasn't properly healed for months. I think she had really underestimated the operation and the healing time, she hated not being able to bend over for a while etc.
When she had her second she tried for a vbac but ended up having an EMCS. She's come to terms with it all now - I think going through the labour with her second helped. She much preferred the ELCS to the EMCS and she's healthy and well now.

M48294Y · 02/01/2016 21:13

Alis - you can only have an opinion if you have consumed the information fed to you about this family.

I know that they exist and I know Kim is the most famous one and that their dad is now Caitlyn. I have taken an interest in that story from a feminist pov. Beyond that I couldn't identify them or pick any of them out of a line up. This is because I don't care about them and therefore I don't read anything about them.

I actually pmsl at the idea that I am on a website with people who follow the Kardashians on Twitter/Instagram or whatever the fuck. This is the level of intellect that a tiny minority of my friends' rather vacuous teenage daughters are at!

TeaAddict235 · 02/01/2016 21:15

scarlett that's probably down the Jenner genes.

But i'd probably have a complex about my looks if I was last in a line of very opinionated sisters and the beauty Kendall.

There has always been something Adams family about those girls.

M4 I don't read about them or watch them or anything either however I still know who they are. Also you're not better than someone because you don't know who Khloe Kardashian is and being intelligent isn't mutually exclusive with following celeb stuff anyway.

out thanks, that must be a pain to have an infection. I find it interesting that everyone's recovery is varied, even the same operation. For me it was absolutely fine, I know others who said it was incredibly hard. Bodies are weird aren't they

Diddlydokey · 02/01/2016 21:22

voyage I suppose I'm not inclined to want sexy time with an 18 year old woman, no. But she is in my opinion very pretty as are all of them really.

Alisvolatpropiis · 02/01/2016 21:24

Isn't hard to do a quick google image search, M4, perhaps you're not quite so intellectually above par if you think otherwise.

MizK · 02/01/2016 21:27

M48 why do you use a populist website like MN if you are so far above general celebrity-awareness? (Despite posting more than once on a Kylie Jenner thread)
I would rather be vacuous than have an inflated sense of my own intellect.

Motherinlawsdung · 02/01/2016 21:27

Do these people actually do anything? Apart from having plastic surgery of course.

Roussette · 02/01/2016 21:28

They are all pointless and vacuous and my god do people on here actually follow them on twitter or whatever?

I am sure they could all be natural beauties (as are many other young girls) but to have unnecessary surgery to just post a selfie with a pout or show your implanted arse off is pathetic. Thank god my young adult DCs barely know who they are, they know their worth and it doesn't rely on a pouty selfie. As for having stuff done at 17, it's pathetic but I suppose whichever one it was (no idea which) was born into a family that makes a living out of... ummm... self promotion of the worst kind.

Outaboutnowt · 02/01/2016 21:31

tali i also know some people who have bounced back from their CS. The one who had the infection actually had a hole in her scar at one point, a good inch long hole. It was awful, bless her. Tbh VB and CS both have pros and cons, I had VB but did have stitches which weren't pleasant.

Anyway...

M48 it's just sleb twaddle in AIBU. People can talk about whatever they want. The world would be ever so dull if we all had the same interests.
You can hide the thread if you deem it beneath you intellectually. HTH

Wannabestepfordwife · 02/01/2016 21:34

She just looks so sad I really do feel for the girl.

Her mum openly admits Kim is her favourite, her dad is now living as a woman and she's had to grow up in the spotlight.

She just comes across as very insecure and I find it sad/scary how she's morfing into her boyfriends ex.

If cosmetic surgery makes someone happy then great but it doesn't come across that way in Kylie's instance.

M48294Y · 02/01/2016 21:39

I've been here for nearly 10 years and its a hard habit to break Miz. That's why I use a "populist" website like Mumsnet.

There's sleb twaddle and then there is discussing the pondlife that is the Kardashians. They take sleb twaddle down to a whole new level.

MizK · 02/01/2016 21:45

Ok. But I don't click on threads unless the title interests me. So I'm guessing you came onto this one specifically to mock those of us who are interested enough to discuss Kylie Jenner. Which makes you an eejit.

M48294Y · 02/01/2016 22:06

It does very much interest me that there are actually people who want to discuss the Kardashians. I find that grimly fascinating.

Roussette · 02/01/2016 22:08

M48 yes I'm the same but in the way of trying vaguely to understand why anyone would find them worthy of interest. And KimK's size of a small country arse intrigues me because if ever a picture comes up on some feed or other it looks bigger than it did last time I saw it.

Bixxy · 02/01/2016 22:16

M48 yes yes yes to everything you've said. I genuinely clicked on the thread to see the OP being flamed because I couldn't believe that people would seriously discuss the Kardashians for 200 odd comments. How wrong I was! Confused

Alisvolatpropiis · 02/01/2016 23:38

I'm not sure discussing the ethics behind performing plastic surgery on a minor is particularly low brow, and that is largely how this thread has gone.

Until the lofty intellectuals turned up to let everyone know how stupid they all are it was, anyway.

WhatamessIgotinto · 03/01/2016 08:12

"loads of people regret their VB no one regrets their ELCS"

Genuine question Tali who on earth give you that information?

TaliZorah · 03/01/2016 08:13

A family member. The women in my family have had traumatic births though so it's coloured by bad experience
