So our flats are opposite a Tesco Express. I will admit, parking is limited. But it isnt my fucking problem.

People continously park outside our gates- so we cant get in, and we cant get out. There is a woman who does it continously- a couple of times a week. At least 3 times- and its always the same sort of time. You can set your watch by her.

A few times in the last month she has blocked the exit so I cant get out.

This evening, ive been babysitting my goddaughter and her cousin. GD has been unwell and was feeling worse, so got in the car to take her to A+E. Pulled up to the gate to leave only to find this fucking pain in the arse parking in front of the gate. She refused to move, told me she would only be 10 minutes.

Raging, I got a dirty nappy out of the wheelie bin and stuck it on her windscreen.

AIBU?

Actually, I think the other person lived in a house not flat.

While the police probably wouldn't be impressed with the nappy, surely the rude parker would also get a bollocking from them.

FeralBeryl · 29/12/2015 02:47

No, don't think it was parking- the OP had her bag nicked from her car in the same car pack the other day. Not having much luck there OP 👎🏻

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 29/12/2015 02:48

I suspect when she returns to the car, she will know exactly where that nappy has come from and will likely either distribute its contents (whatever's left) over your driveway, or post it through your letterbox.

Not the best move. I'd have opened the gates and told her to move it or I'd ram it out the way.

ComposHatComesBack · 29/12/2015 02:49

Hmm desperate to get to a&e with a sick child and you find you are blocked in, would you

A) explain the situation more clearly and appeal to the inconsiderate Parker's better nature
B) threaten to call the police if the car wasn't moved and do so if she doesn't play ball.
C) launch a stream of invective at the driver
D) Call a taxi or friend get the child treated and worry about the crappy parker later.
E) Any combination of the above

Or F) Think, I'll leave the sick and potentially distressed child and go for rootle around in the wheelie bins on the off chance there's a dirty nappy I can use to smear across the windscreen. Having hit the shitty nappy jackpot proceed to do that whilst the sick child watches on, whilst thinking 'that'll really speed the process along'.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 29/12/2015 03:15

I don't believe a word of this.

lastkisstoo · 29/12/2015 03:49

There are some odd things going on in here tonight.

I am a frequent lurker here in MN, and I love nothing more than sitting in front of my laptop of an evening being entertained by all of your wonderful stories and hilarious observations.

This post is the very first that I have come across that just did not ring true. I searched for op's previous posts (had no idea how to but managed - go me) and things got even odder. Back in October of this year op was a married mum of a toddler trying for another baby. Fast forward to December when her bag was stolen and when her family invited themselves for Xmas dinner and she is a single woman with no kids.

Is it just me? I have most definitely overdosed on chocolate the last week or so, maybe it has affected by brain cells as well as my waistline and arteries Hmm

Jaeme · 29/12/2015 06:22

@lastkisstoo

It isn't just you.
Seems like somebody has some trouble deciding on whether they're married with a toddler or single and childless. :-/

BatsUpMyNightie · 29/12/2015 06:23

This didn't happen did it OP? Quite apart from anything else I'm sure that smearing human shit on anything would count as criminal damage/health hazard and she could report your unbelievable arse - I'd hope you'd rightly get the book thrown at you too.

God it's been hard work on here over the festive season!

wannabestressfree · 29/12/2015 06:43

If you think its a troll report.

WillSomebodyThinkOfStefan · 29/12/2015 07:17

Why would anyone do this?

insancerre · 29/12/2015 07:34

Good gods
What a shitty thing to do
That's not a normal reaction to a problem

BalloonSlayer · 29/12/2015 07:37

Given that it is illegal to block someone from leaving their property, you could call the police (or even an ambulance) with a perfectly clear conscience in a situation like this. Confused

So, how did you get to the hospital then?

Dickbumdick · 29/12/2015 07:38

This sounds like some straight up bollocks

BatsUpMyNightie · 29/12/2015 07:43

May I just say Dickbumdick that your NN has made me giggle! Ok - in the manner of a 6 year old, but so what! Grin

Chopz · 29/12/2015 07:43

Yes phone the police next time. Photograph car blocking and report her each time.

But I'm sure a shitty nappy is more effective. Great going OP!

VashtaNerada · 29/12/2015 07:56

Some of you are going to get told off by MNHQ soon! If you suspect a troll you're not meant to mention it, just report the thread.

TripeAndGhost · 29/12/2015 08:00

Ew

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 29/12/2015 08:08

This post is the very first that I have come across that just did not ring true

I find that hard to believe :o

MamaLazarou · 29/12/2015 08:09

I don't think it's a troll, just a fantasist. An unpleasant fantasist.

bigfam · 29/12/2015 08:09

Personally I don't think this is a troll. I can't find any posts about her being married with kids Hmm
All her posts point to her being single. As for picking holes in the op, she's written that the children were in the car by the gate when she got out, nowhere does it mention she smeared the shit over the window, I read it as she left a sealed nappy on the window (because surely no one leaves a nappy hanging open) also that the woman that does this goes to Tesco TWO times a week and has blocked her in THREE times so far. AND if you search her name, she's written about her god daughter being on medication. Maybe it was a bit gross, but maybe the Op was a bit pissed off? Hope the lo is OK foxes

timelytess · 29/12/2015 08:15

The nappy thing is disgusting and only the lowest of people would do such a thing, or think of it. In fact, I'm not sure there are people so low. Or, I wasn't. MNers - you've let yourselves down.

AbbyCadabra · 29/12/2015 08:16

There is another poster with an almost identical username, this may be confusing some people. It's not necessarily the same poster.

I would have just called the police, tbh.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 29/12/2015 08:17

If this is true I kind of get why you might have done it but I think there may be cctv and you may get in trouble...

Janeymoo50 · 29/12/2015 08:18

Two wrongs don't make a right. Disgusting thing to do, sorry you were blocked in but how chavvy.

Sirzy · 29/12/2015 08:21

Either the child wasn't ill enough to need a and e because if you need to get a child to a and e you don't have time to mess with things like this or there is some exaggeration at least going on here.
