So our flats are opposite a Tesco Express. I will admit, parking is limited. But it isnt my fucking problem.

People continously park outside our gates- so we cant get in, and we cant get out. There is a woman who does it continously- a couple of times a week. At least 3 times- and its always the same sort of time. You can set your watch by her.

A few times in the last month she has blocked the exit so I cant get out.

This evening, ive been babysitting my goddaughter and her cousin. GD has been unwell and was feeling worse, so got in the car to take her to A+E. Pulled up to the gate to leave only to find this fucking pain in the arse parking in front of the gate. She refused to move, told me she would only be 10 minutes.

Raging, I got a dirty nappy out of the wheelie bin and stuck it on her windscreen.

AIBU?

CheerfulYank · 28/12/2015 23:54

Would assume, if true, that the kids were in the car.

abbsismyhero · 28/12/2015 23:58

i know its not the same im just saying people really are that nasty even around sick children

Pinkandbluemcdonald5 · 28/12/2015 23:58

Qod, I'm not troll hunting, more concerned that there are people who condone such behaviour. If a child is unwell, the there are more appropriate/life saving actions to take.

wickedwaterwitch · 28/12/2015 23:59

Surely this isn't real.

Nobody is that much of a loon. (OP, not imaginary inconsiderate parking woman)

Pipbin · 29/12/2015 00:00

But surely you were still trapped in the car park and there when she came back.
Did she say anything?

wickedwaterwitch · 29/12/2015 00:01

On the off chance that it is though:

OP, YABU, it's a really weird thing to do

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 29/12/2015 00:03

It could have happened.

OP gets out of car near gate to argue with woman. Woman walks off to tesco. Bins are near the gate. Bins are full as its xmas so nappy near the top. OP sees red and grabs a nappy and smears it on car.

Sits back inside car while waiting for woman to come as waiting ten mins will be quicker than a taxi and it's not like the DC is having a cardiac arrest in the back!

What I want to know is, what happened next?

abbsismyhero · 29/12/2015 00:04

yes there is but sometimes you lose your temper ive not beshitted someones car before but i did go ballistic at someone for parking halfway over my moms driveway before now they had a dark car it was dark no (working) street lighting nearby and my mom was a wee bit of a speeder and always flung the car into the driveway i tried being reasonable they told me to piss off so i told them if she smashed there car up it would be there fault no one else's and i sincerely hoped they were not dumb enough to try and claim off our insurance i was just hitting my stride when their child got out of the car and begged them to move it i was mortified i hadn't realised they had children in the car Sad but they moved the car

Pinkandbluemcdonald5 · 29/12/2015 00:10

Abb, in that situation your mum would not have been in the right if she sped into her drive and hit a car.

They should not have been half across her drive though, very rude of them.

dolly2016 · 29/12/2015 00:17

I think you are a bit of an idiot. What you did was legally criminal damage. She knows it was you and where you live! I'd be expecting a call from the fuzz.
It is a bit odd for the babysitter to take a sick child to A&E.Surely it would be a parent that would take her, and to the OOD not A&E?

MiscellaneousAssortment · 29/12/2015 00:19

Well I don't get the pooey nappy bit but people are awful when it comes to parking.

OohMavis · 29/12/2015 00:36

Well, yes, of course you are.

Surely any rational person in this situation would call the police. Or if the child was very sick, an ambulance... who would probably then contact the police to have her done for willfully obstructing an emergency vehicle.

Hmm
BoneyBackJefferson · 29/12/2015 00:37

dolly2016

I suspect that it would come under antisocial behaviour more than criminal damage.

Barron - I visualised a different set up. More bumper to the side of the other car.

DiscoDiva70 · 29/12/2015 01:05

Op
It's definitely not been your week has it?

Hmm

ADishBestEatenCold · 29/12/2015 01:07

"What you do is drive up very slowly until you are touching her car, and then you push it out of the way."

I would have thought that pushing another car side on (as one would do if they were parked across one's exit), would have risked pushing it over,or at best denting the panels, BaronDent.

Although, I do have to admit I've never tried it, so perhaps there is a special technique (or is that how you got your username Wink).

fidel1ne · 29/12/2015 01:11

Of COURSE it is unreasonable to solve your problems by flinging excrement, even (especially) when someone is behaving like an objectionable arse.

Have I wandered into Chimpsnet? Hmm

TheCrazyDuchess · 29/12/2015 01:16

I just don't get why when the lady said she was going to be 10 mins, you didn't tell her you was going to A&E.

Surely no one is that heartless???

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 29/12/2015 01:27

...

CaoNiMao · 29/12/2015 01:31

These sorts of post, and people's positive reactions, make me think we are truly at the end of days.

ReallyTired · 29/12/2015 01:35

Putting shitty nappies on a car is unacceptable. It's better to phone the police. However the op is probably so stressed out she could not think.

RamblingRedRose · 29/12/2015 01:36

I'm sure the OP has posted about her parking problems before. Or perhaps that's a different person who lives opposite a Tesco Express.

I would be driven crazy by it too!

fidel1ne · 29/12/2015 01:46

Did she draw a diagram last time? That poster?

PrincessFiorimonde · 29/12/2015 01:47

What happened next?
