So our flats are opposite a Tesco Express. I will admit, parking is limited. But it isnt my fucking problem.

People continously park outside our gates- so we cant get in, and we cant get out. There is a woman who does it continously- a couple of times a week. At least 3 times- and its always the same sort of time. You can set your watch by her.

A few times in the last month she has blocked the exit so I cant get out.

This evening, ive been babysitting my goddaughter and her cousin. GD has been unwell and was feeling worse, so got in the car to take her to A+E. Pulled up to the gate to leave only to find this fucking pain in the arse parking in front of the gate. She refused to move, told me she would only be 10 minutes.

Raging, I got a dirty nappy out of the wheelie bin and stuck it on her windscreen.

AIBU?

Yanbu, did you tell her you needed to get to a&e?

TeaFathers · 28/12/2015 23:22

i agree others would have keyed her car.
or stuffed the car exhaust pipe.

you do need to take this further. officially.
not sure how but maybe contact tesco, your local council, local MP and police for starters.

abbsismyhero · 28/12/2015 23:22

check her number plate see if she is taxed and insured if not report her

IguanaTail · 28/12/2015 23:23

She didn't put it there because someone refused to move for 10 mins. She put it there because
1 - the woman repeatedly parks there
2 - she had to take a child to a&e
3 - the women refused to move.

The child was so poorly she needed A&E and you told her that and she wouldn't move.

If she was so sick she needed A&E did you call a taxi then?

This story stinks to high heaven and it's not the scent of a used nappy.

Takeparacetamolandstopmoaning · 28/12/2015 23:24

I don't believe you

ScribblerOnTheRoof · 28/12/2015 23:24

I very much doubt she refused to move if you had told her you had to make an emergency trip

madamedesevigne · 28/12/2015 23:24

Is it wrong that I'm now singing along?

Stick a shitty nappy on the old windscreen
It's been three long years, do you still want me?

SevenOfNineTrue · 28/12/2015 23:24

Not at all. Good for you!

NewLife4Me · 28/12/2015 23:25

Maybe you should have keyed Cunt across the side panel too.
There are some inconsiderate people about.

You can call for Ambulance and police will remove the car if it's obstructing.
They don't muck about neither they knock them out of the way.
Hope the little one is better soon.

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 28/12/2015 23:25

The wait in A&E must be long and the OP is keeping MN updated as she anxiously keeps her god-daughter company.....or maybe not....

AnotherTimeMaybe · 28/12/2015 23:25

You seriously put human shit on someone's car because they parked in the wrong place for ten minutes?
I can recall those stressful times I had to run to my car to get ds to a&e, especially the one when he was 4 days old with 39 fever... If someone told me she wouldnt move her car I d put my own shit in her windscreen!

Groovee · 28/12/2015 23:26

I might have done the same but next time when not in a hurry to get out

Pinkandbluemcdonald5 · 28/12/2015 23:26

It worries me that so many agree that this is an appropriate response to a situation.

G1veMeStrength · 28/12/2015 23:26

Is this a reverse parking thread? Am I in a parallel universe?

Hope the poorly child is ok.

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 28/12/2015 23:27

Oh, and what others have said.
Loadabollocks.

GuiltyPleasure · 28/12/2015 23:28

You told her you were taking a sick child to A&E & she told you to wait 10 mins while she did her shopping??!!

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 28/12/2015 23:28

Pinkandblue- quite.

TrinityForce · 28/12/2015 23:30

YABU, that's disgusting.

But yes, what sort of human being tells another that they won't move their car so they can take a sick child to A&E? What the fuck?

AnyFucker · 28/12/2015 23:31

Ugh

how very low rent

TheFairyCaravan · 28/12/2015 23:32

It all happens on your carpark, doesn't it OP?

MamaLazarou · 28/12/2015 23:32

It's got to be one of those spoof threads that turn out to be the plot of a soap or something.

Dipankrispaneven · 28/12/2015 23:32

Why didn't you call the police to get her car moved urgently?

Permanentlyexhausted · 28/12/2015 23:33

So in an a&be emergency you went to the nearest bin to find a dirty nappy and then smeared it on a car window? I really don't think the average person responds like that in a real emergency.

This. Did you really think it was a good idea to delve around in a bin to find a dirty nappy whilst looking after a sick child? Besides if you had time to do this, it was neither an accident nor an emergency and therefore the out-of-hours doctor is where you should be heading.
