I'm really Hmm about this.

Who thought it would be a good idea in this day and age. Maybe in the 90s

That can't possibly be real

Narp · 13/12/2015 12:47

This is a pisstake. Isn't it?

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 13/12/2015 12:48

Oh it is Confused

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 13/12/2015 12:48

Are you looking for stores to name and shame OP?

EBearhug · 13/12/2015 12:49

That's surely not for real?

LemonRedwood · 13/12/2015 12:50

What would prompt them to make an ad like this? It's so weird. They left out groups of people too - what if you're asexual? Nothing in Robert Dyas for you!

DyslexicScientist · 13/12/2015 12:51

Its real from their official YouTube.

Oh sorry I m forgot I've already slagged off one store today, im quite any cobsunerisum and wank promotion and adverts Blush

OurBlanche · 13/12/2015 12:52

Even The Huff is confused over this

BishopBrennansArse · 13/12/2015 12:53

Is that a fucking spoof?

EBearhug · 13/12/2015 12:53

I don't care about the sexuality of the people who serve me in shops. I might care about their knowledge if I need to ask questions, but unless I were buying sextoys, I can't see that sexuality is relevant there, either. Pretty sure I have never had to declare my sexuality when shopping anywhere, either.

Are they reacting (badly) to a discrimination case or something?

RufusTheReindeer · 13/12/2015 12:54

Oh good lord Hmm

SoWhite · 13/12/2015 12:57

Apparently it a parody of this advert:

Parody doesn't work if the thing you are referencing is obscure!!

RJnomore1 · 13/12/2015 12:57

It's got to be a joke.

The woman going "I'm bisexual and I always find something I love at Robert dyas" is the funniest thing I've seen in ages. It can't be serious?

JohnCusacksWife · 13/12/2015 12:57

Speechless....

CarbonEmittingPenguin · 13/12/2015 12:59

I must tweet this! It's absolutely horrendous! "Look at this Christmas tree, it's perfect for a gay person, or a straight person."

Narp · 13/12/2015 12:59

Ah, that makes sense SoWhite

It is quite funny as a parody.

Sparklingbrook · 13/12/2015 13:00

How did you stumble across that advert? What were you looking for? Confused I have not heard of the store or seen the ad on the TV.

SoWhite · 13/12/2015 13:01

How have you not heard of Robert Dyas?

DoreenLethal · 13/12/2015 13:02

That is brilliant.

VaticanAssassin · 13/12/2015 13:02

The ad, whether you think it's good, bad or hilarious has done exactly what it intended to- get people everywhere talking about Robert Dyas just in time for Christmas Grin

DyslexicScientist · 13/12/2015 13:03

I'm even more confused. Why did they make it about sexuality?

Is the black white one a joke?

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 13/12/2015 13:06

I have googled the shop. Apparently there is one 20 miles from me SoWhite. Never heard of it.

SoWhite · 13/12/2015 13:07

Fair enough Sparkling.

Yes Dyslexic, the black and white one was a joke in the first place.
