Shall we have a little vote, here and now?

It's a big "no" from me.

I am not stupid enough to think that a mn thread is a representative sample of the population.

Why do you say that Littlelion? Where do you suppose you will get one then?

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 26/11/2015 18:37

I dont know. I'm undecided.

batshitlady pre election, MN wasn't representative in any of these polls. Labour would have won the election hands down if it was down to MN.

batshitlady · 26/11/2015 18:40

Really? I'm surprised at that. It looked about even to me. I'd say we're, (MN), relatively representative.

If you get a consensus you don't like, does that automatically mean you must've hit on a vain of pot smoking liberals?

SeamstressfromTreacleMineRoad · 26/11/2015 18:41

No

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 26/11/2015 18:44

Believe me, batshit, (if you are talking to me!) as a conservative voter I always thought twice about posting. Labour voters posted enthusiastically, conservative voters virtually non existant. Not representative in the election.

LittleLionMansMummy · 26/11/2015 18:48

Well for a start because so far there are only 177 replies batshit

Nonetheless the response on here is interesting and I do wonder what the response would be from, say, an Ipsos survey and whether people's opinions have changed at all after Paris.

Lilithmoon · 26/11/2015 19:10

No. Killing innocent people is not the answer.

batshitlady · 26/11/2015 19:17

Throughthick You mentioned how if MN was taken seriously then Labour would have won the last election? Don't forget (and believe me, I've no intention of going over all this crap again) But I will this one more time. .. The "first past the post." system won it for the Tories. If we’d have had a more proportional system, the result would have been very different. Even the Express admitted that. I didn't vote Labour myself BTW! So it's unsurprising that it came across that way.

But I digress. No to bombing, and it aint just Lefties that don't want it.

we should be pushing the UN to impose massive sanctions on countries supplying and funding IS such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

The UN has sanctioned any action against ISIS so it would not be illegal under international law. In fact action is being encouraged.

No.

Bombs helped nobody, ever. It's pretty much inevitable though. The government will do what they want, as always. I fear for the world my DD is to live in when she grows up.
