Shall we have a little vote, here and now?

It's a big "no" from me.

Ohbehave1 · 26/11/2015 20:38

I wish someone would come up with an alternative, because ISIS don't really go in for discussion or compromise ........

Behooven · 26/11/2015 20:39

Yes (unfortunately)

BarbarianMum · 26/11/2015 20:44

No - until we hear about a co-ordinated, long-term plan to explain what happens next and how bombing will result in a stable, democratic Syria. Then maybe.

BabCNesbitt · 26/11/2015 20:46

Absolutely not.

Yes.

Nobody has come up with any other possible plan. We can't just let this group grow and grow the way they have been.

Racheyg · 26/11/2015 21:05

No.

I think I've heard that before. It took a fair few years but the outcome was ISIS.

But I do t have another solution and something should be done in Syria

nightsky010 · 26/11/2015 22:10

NO!

But the govt doesn't care what anyone thinks and we will be bombing them regardless.

Osolea · 26/11/2015 22:12

NO!

Radicalrooster · 26/11/2015 22:16

Would any of the naysayers like to come up with a credible alternative to allowing that fascist regime the leeway to rape and murder its way through its occupied territories? Skinning alive, burning alive, explosive necklaces, eyes gouged out, Yazidi children beheaded, Yazidi women being used as lumps of sexual meat for hundreds of Jihadi fighters, group drownings, crucifixion and dismemberment, young men being ground into a bloody paste under the tracks of a tank. Thousands upon thousands of times. Lovely stuff.

Tell you what, let's just leave it to Assad and ISIS to fight it out between themselves, shall we? That way, no innocent civilians will die, the outcome will be a peaceful, democratic, non-sectarian and representative Government in Syria, and the refugees will flock back home.

itsmeohlord · 26/11/2015 22:23

Yes, but with a plan for what happens afterwards, to stop another hidous group of murdering bastards filling the vacuum.

VulcanWoman · 26/11/2015 22:25

To stop relying on their oil and keep our nose out of their business.

lifeinslowmotion · 26/11/2015 22:31

Yes

There will undoubtedly be some civilian casualties but I really don't see what the alternative is. Let them do what the hell they want and get stronger while we sit back and do nothing?

War is never pleasant but unfortunately sometimes it is necessary.
