To call my twins Kensington and Chelsea even though we can barely afford to rent in Enfield

Ive always liked the name Chelsea but when I found out we were having twins I thought this would be a genius idea. My family is originally from around there (grandparents and great grandparents lived there) but its way too expensive for me these days.

Dh thinks its a bad idea but I'm really keen on it.

Jus in case you can ever afford to live in Enfield, I'd go with Arnos and Grove.

Peaceloveandpartyrings · 03/11/2015 10:31

Bahaha Tyrell and Green.

StickyProblem · 03/11/2015 10:32

Lewisham and Catford!!! Lew and Cat for short, quite trendy for b/g twins..

I was living in the Nam (as we call it) when PG with DD and pondered Catford as a name, in the style of Brooklyn Beckham.

There was a woman in the US whose children's names were pronounced (I think) Le-mon-jell-O and Or-ran-jell-o. (Lemon Jello and Orange Jello.)

If I have twin boys (unlikely) I am going to call them Brixton and Peckham.

Loftslag · 03/11/2015 10:41

Bill and Ricky

longtimelurker101 · 03/11/2015 10:43

Enfield and Chase?

hibbleddible · 03/11/2015 10:43

Highbury and Islington

Far more aspirational Hmm

Beth and Nell Green

Jaxx · 03/11/2015 10:47

Why restrict yourself to places - why not used buildings as inspiration.

When my son was 5, he was determined his future sons would be called: Gherkin, Shard and Strata.

lorelei9 · 03/11/2015 10:56

(actually I'm fine with Chelsea as a name)

Bubblesinthesummer · 03/11/2015 10:59

squoosh · 03/11/2015 11:12

I prefer Zone 1 and Zone 2.

Zone 1 being the favoured child obviously.

susielovessocks · 03/11/2015 11:15

I still shop in Tyrell and green. So does my mum. I don't care what they try and call it...it's still Tyrells so there .

NicoleWatterson · 03/11/2015 11:19

Carter and Hatch with your next child called Lane

Peaceloveandpartyrings · 03/11/2015 11:29

Susie that end of town will always be known as Tyrells

MissHooliesCardigan · 03/11/2015 11:32

If Brooklyn had been conceived in my neck of the woods, he would have been called Peckham Beckham.

yumyumpoppycat · 03/11/2015 11:32

Grin or Biscuit depending if you are joking!

Crazypetlady · 03/11/2015 11:50
