To call my twins Kensington and Chelsea even though we can barely afford to rent in Enfield

Ive always liked the name Chelsea but when I found out we were having twins I thought this would be a genius idea. My family is originally from around there (grandparents and great grandparents lived there) but its way too expensive for me these days.

Dh thinks its a bad idea but I'm really keen on it.

Tavin Alexander Hammersmith Williams - partly named for the mid-race bridge - knew I'd heard it somewhere.

They WI bring joy to those around them if you do. Grin

Love District and Circle and DLR !!

howtorebuild · 03/11/2015 09:17

It's Fabrese I feel bad about, comfort is an actual name, older women have.

TheGrallon · 03/11/2015 09:18

If this isn't a wind up then back slowly away from the idea then turn round and run..... I say this with love, when I was pregnant with my twins I thought up all sorts of 'great' name combos which I was talked out of... From the cold light of three years down the line I am now very glad of it!!

FrChewieLouie · 03/11/2015 09:21

Are you sure you aren't tempted by Barking and Dagenham?

newname12 · 03/11/2015 09:22

I always wonder if Lewisham ilton was named after the borough.

If your surname is Ford you could go for Dept and Cat as first names.

TodmordensDog · 03/11/2015 09:23

East Ham and West Ham?

I'd avoid Wimbledon though. Wimbledon's common.

tbtc20 · 03/11/2015 09:39

Mornington Crescent

DeepBlueLake · 03/11/2015 09:42

Harrow and Barnet?

Chelsea isn't exactly a posh name OP, more like a very dated name from the 90s.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 03/11/2015 09:42

This is a joke right?. Your DH is correct, this is a bad idea of yours.

They being lumbered with such a monikor will make all their school days miserable as a result.

Shutthatdoor · 03/11/2015 09:44

Hyde and Park?
