To ask who you'd choose if you were ordered by royal decree to have a torrid affair?

Risk of being thrown in the Tower/put in the stocks and all that malarkey if you refuse.

Today I think I'd go for Ralph Fiennes. Look how pretty he is. Yes he's all tortured and angsty and probably ponders endlessly on his 'craft' (yawwwn) but he's just so alluring.

No doubt he'd be a tad high maintenance in the long run but for an enforced torrid affair I think he'd do very nicely indeed. Plus he's probably into all manner of eye popping sexual shenanigans. And let's face it, what's the point of a torrid affair without some eye poppery. Am I right?

Ben Aldridge can share my coco pops anytime ( Can't believe I beat the rest of the Our Girl fanatics to it!).

Tom Felton, but only as a traumatised looking Draco Malfoy.

Chad Kroeger, but just for the voice, I don't need to look at him.

shakeatailfeather · 27/10/2015 22:06

Sorry Chickens I bagsied RDJ a good few pages (and years!!) back. He is bloody gorgeous isn't he though? and the bad boy past has done nothing to detract from them! and an amazing actor too.

Johnny Galecki is perfectly lovely too - but I prefer the hair curlier than when he is in TBBT

If we're time travelling I'll reanimate Brando in Guys and Dolls role (c1955)

I missed out another current favourite, Yannick Bisson Totally gorgeous!

I so have a 'famous man' type Blush

Abidewithme3 · 27/10/2015 22:18

Good grief you disgusting people.

Page 15 and I posted at page one my October shags!

Ok now nov. And crap at names.

So whole of the rugby World Cup players. Why not?

Dec.. Would re do Phillip Glenister (Jean Hackman) why not.

Now I know this is weird but have had dirty dreams involving the one from dream builds! Phillip? The one who always inspired couples to have a surprise sprog while their house is half built, like you would.

And Claire balding.

Feel disturbed now.

Hey ho. Smile

A thought has just occured, ladies. If it was a mostly-male thread with male posters frothing over ladies..... we'd judge them, wouldn't we?

Are we, too, leches? Haloween Sad

I don't especially mind being one but wanted to confirm before putting my name down for the Malcolm Reynolds Nathan Fillion queue.

needastrongone · 27/10/2015 22:30

Tom Hiddlestone, but DD (14) fancies him too, so that's probably wrong on some level Smile

WhataRacquet · 27/10/2015 22:30

Has anyone bagsied Gael Garcia Bernal yet? If not I'm calling dibs.

shadowfax07 · 27/10/2015 22:33

As no-one else has mentioned them, can I have first dibs on Tom Burke and Hugo Speer please? But only in Three Musketeers outfits.

If we can go back in time, Mark Lewis Jones circa the year 2000.

WhatTimeIsItCuckoo · 27/10/2015 22:33

The more I read of this thread the more I'm thinking, 'Yes, yes, yes!' (no pun intended). Someone mentioned Robert De Niro - complete swoon, particularly talking Italian in Godfather 2, (also Al Pacino in Godfather 1 & 2), but evenolder actually mentioned Gary Oldman dressed as Dracula!! evenolder I have only ever met one other person who agreed with me on this - it's his intense stare across the road whilst wearing a top hat, blue shades and ringlets that did it for me. Thank God someone else understands, I usually get a polite but confused silence for this admission. Also totally get Robert Carlyle and Mark Ruffalo. And Steve McQueen (particularly in The Thomas Crown Affair), oh and yes! Jim Morrison, back in the day, slim, tousle haired, full lipped and leather trousered. Oh and Aiden Gillen, has anyone mentioned him?

TheCreepyContessaOfPlumperton · 27/10/2015 22:36

Well as long as I have to then I guess it's ok.

Halloween Wink
PantsOfGold · 27/10/2015 22:44

Contessa - DH has a list too - we keep each other updated on who is current favourite. Dh's is Gloria from Modern Family at the moment!

FantasticRik · 27/10/2015 22:56

I think everyone on this thread needs a cold shower ----

I would have to say my gorgeous Rik Mayall would be my number one sordid affair candidate.

Or, Jamie Dornan .

I'm also dying to know about Elvis' sordid preferences which were alluded to up thread.

NotSkinnyYet · 27/10/2015 23:04

Ooh wait, I missed Timothy Dalton! I can't remember who mentioned him upthread but can I just borrow him for a tiny little bit? Please? Wine

I have this thing about voices (and generally about dark haired brooding men) and I think those on my list fit that theme in one way or another. Funnily enough DH does not fit my type at all Confused

Jollyphonics · 27/10/2015 23:13

Casper Schmeichel. He's just beautiful.

WhatamessIgotinto · 27/10/2015 23:18

Hugh Jackman.
Tom Hardy.
David Bowie circa about 1979.

Darvany · 27/10/2015 23:23

It's only fair to discuss men we'd actually choose given that so many women in history were put in the stocks / The Tower for sleeping with or refusing men or both.

Phwoargh!

not
