KatharineClifton · 19/10/2015 18:49

You can go too, it's not a special showing for my DC and me unfortunately Grin

Booked! Grin

TrionicLettuce · 19/10/2015 18:53

I booked ours at about 9:30 this morning, all five 00:01 showings at our local were running out of VIP seats even then Shock

ghostyslovesheep · 19/10/2015 18:54

it wont let me book - keeps timing me out

hunibuni · 19/10/2015 18:57

Booked! Grin

NotTodaySatan · 19/10/2015 18:58

DP is booked.

As that rare specimen (a film nerd who doesn't like Star Wars) I'll happily be at home with the DC Grin.

KatharineClifton · 19/10/2015 19:00

I can't wait!!!!!

Hygge · 19/10/2015 19:01

What age rating is on the film?

TrionicLettuce · 19/10/2015 19:02

Neither can I!!

I'm desperately trying not to get my hopes up as all my experience tells me that new Star Wars films are shite but I just can't help it, the trailers just look so good Grin

KatharineClifton · 19/10/2015 19:02

12A

OP posts:
TrionicLettuce · 19/10/2015 19:04

The rating hasn't been officially confirmed yet but it's certainly not going to be anything higher than a 12A and I wouldn't be surprised if they try and keep it to a PG.

SwedeDreams · 19/10/2015 19:05

Booked some D-BOX seats this morning for the 17th. Never done that before, hoping I won't get motion sickness! Grin

SwedeDreams · 19/10/2015 19:06

It's a 12A

KatharineClifton · 19/10/2015 19:09

Cineworld have it down as a 12A

Wow, have had to google D-Box and am Envy we don't have that kind of thing here in the sticks. I've had to book flipping 2D anyway as DC can't see 3D thanks to the odd shaped eyes I gave them.

I'd be so surprised if a Disney film near Christmas was a 12A. Have you seen the range of merchandise out?!

Either way, booked our tickets earlier today. Apparently if it's a 12A the children can go as long as they're accompanied by a responsible adult. They have both seen Revenge of the Sith with no ill effects, so it should be ok.

crumpet · 19/10/2015 19:23

Bugger. Was so pleased that I'd managed to get 4 tickets, and didn't even look at the rating. DS is 9...

crumpet · 19/10/2015 19:27

BBFC site suggests it's a PG though - and passed uncut

crumpet · 19/10/2015 19:28

It also states "Cast includes: Harrison Ford, Mark Hammill, Carrie Fisher, Simon Pegg" Grin

SmileAndNod · 19/10/2015 19:29

There was no rating given on the Odeon site when I booked, and none on the official website either. New trailer out overnight tooSmile

KatharineClifton · 19/10/2015 19:31

crumpet you are fine to take a 9yo into a 12A.

Given the level of marketing of Star Wars merchandise to children, it would be so annoying if they do release a film that children can't in fact go and see

MrsJayy · 19/10/2015 19:43

Is it a pre screening doodah? Im a bit wary tbh Disney starwars will there be singing and oversized eyes Grin

KatharineClifton · 19/10/2015 19:44

Ha! I'd laugh so hard if it turned out to be a musical and they'd managed to keep that a secret Grin
