Booked here too for after school on the 17th!

Stupid question alert - Have always stuck with 2D films up to now? Do you have to sit with the daft glasses on for the whole film? And what happens if you already wear glasses.

Am very hi tech. Grin

OddBoots, I worked with a few of the minor actors at Pinewood. There was a lot of sitting around while dozens of people re-sewed costumes and constructed sets that were never ready when they said they would be. So you would come in at noon and go home at 11pm having done absolutely nothing. Oh and the whole cast went off to Puzzlewood for a day, just because.

The lead actor is the black guy on the poster. I guess they want to make a new star for the future, because Harrison Ford isn't getting any younger.

I hAve to watch in 2D. 3D makes me feel sick.

RickRoll · 19/10/2015 21:37

Also the stunt people do most of the work.

I'm going to be in such a state when I finally go see the film, the trailers keep making me weepy Blush

SistersOfPercy · 20/10/2015 14:38

trionic when Han said 'Chewie, we're home' I sobbed like a baby. I am somewhat over invested in these movies. Between DH, DD and I we currently own a Stormtrooper, Scout trooper, Snow Trooper, Tie Pilot, Boba Fett, Jawa and a Princess Leia. All full costume, all movie accurate. Our home is a bit like a Star Wars set. When we get visitors they are either utterly baffled by it or in awe Grin

Very jealous Sisters We've got a nice little prop replica collection going but not much in the way of Star Wars stuff yet.

Hoping to get my first really nice custom lightsaber soon though Grin

DH is booked for midnight, I'm at home with the DC. I'm booked for 10:30am when the kids are at school and DH is at work. Grin Would have loved to go as a family to the midnight screening but the kids would never make it through a day at school so we'll go as a family at some point in the first three days.

SistersOfPercy that is an impressive list of costumes. Are you members of any groups? :-)

SistersOfPercy · 21/10/2015 16:03

I've got the Master Replica Sabers on the dining room wall tronic but I'd love my own. I keep looking at custom sites then talking myself out of it in favour of other needed bits (could do with upgrading the Boba Jetpack as it's incredibly heavy).

Muddling, Yes 501st cleared and a couple of other more regional ones as well. I predict we're going to be rather busy in the next few months. Grin
