To think I'm not alone with not falling for adverts

I can't remember the last time I bought anything that was ever advertised. I get all most of my food from my able and Cole and local Indy organic shop. I go on holiday in interesting places that the average person wouldn't of heard of. When I need a new car I just get whatever my friend with a garage has a good deal on. With electrics I always just get something that has good reviews from somewhere like which.

I really can't think if the last time I bought anything branded. I do feel like I'm the only one in modern Britain.

I don't understand who falls for adverts?

So you buy your shampoo in bulk from an organic supplier.

And how prey tell did you stumble upon this organic provider?

And why do you feel so strongly about the organic lifestyle, did you perchance read it somewhere and were influenced, just a little a whole fucking lot you pompous condescending twat

And how did you select your holiday destinations, flights, accommodation? Did you just google "flights to Tonga" on a whim and book the first flight on the list? Or did you select based on a number of parameters important to you - ie location, time, cost, perceptions of value for money? How did you judge offer acceptability that led you to purchase? And you're convinced that Nothing but nothing influenced you at all throughout that process.

This is a troll right? Did I just fall for it? Goddammit.

pmsl what a stupid thread - I totally fall for advertising - makes it so much easier shopping and shit - I don't have to trudge round head shops trying to find ethically sourced organic yak milk conditioner - I just stick to heavily marketed stuff

I actually thought this thread would be about stupid advertising - you know, the sort of shit that shows J-Lo swishing her hair about to show how strong it is? Hmm
Or the one that has that fucking fat opera singer back on, that I have to mute everytime it comes on? Angry

Ooh - or that stupid cartoon 'family' one for some oil-spread that shows how family life is not

JassyRadlett love your user name! Trying to persuade DH to let me call our baby Jassy, he's not so keen.

If that message from the op is their real opinion....then the op is so much less intelligent than they think they are.
BTW Abel and Vole sounds good....can anyone link?
