That the "popular" posters on here are often rude.

I won't mention names but some of them seem to be popular for....not a lot really. Certain people come to mind who have a reputation for being straight talking and funny but most of the time I don't see it. I find them rather disagreeable tbh. Is it just me?

Tants! Hello.

Pag, god bless her, once posted the definitive analogy of all this - about walking into a pub and seeing a group of people you know and going over and chatting to them. A stranger walks in, gets ignored and then starts accusing everyone of being in a clique or being 'popular' or some such.

thornrose · 08/10/2015 15:29

Add "needy" to the Venn.

Hullygully · 08/10/2015 15:29

IT IS YOU USUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wear your badge with pride

BatTeethKeith · 08/10/2015 15:30

These threads almost always go Hully, I'm just getting in early Smile

FattyNinjaOwl · 08/10/2015 15:30

Aw. I was hoping to get into the "in" crowd.
Shame.

purple chuck some morphine my way will ya? My back is killing me.

laffymeal · 08/10/2015 15:31

These types of threads are pointless. Unless you name the posters you mean everyone will be guessing and could have it completely wrong.

That said I don't like the way some pretty innocuous ops get a horrible vitriolic kicking because a few prolific posters set the tone of the thread early on. It's nasty and pathetically childish.

A few posters on the admittedly ridiculously QM teeth thread made absolute tits of themselves by becoming excessively invested in telling the op just how U she was.

This thread is disappointing. I was expecting profligate Naming And Shaming! A vicious Bunfight of the Highest Order! And maybe a little bit of mud slinging.

And it just ended up being a little bit of not-so-veiled whining. Sad

Beautiful Venn diagrams, though. Harmonious colours.

FattyNinjaOwl · 08/10/2015 15:40

Can I be in your gang too usual?

Nabootique · 08/10/2015 15:43

If it were Grouchy it would never have made it to 13 pages. Better to not name and shame and enjoy the lovely diagrams.

I've got some left over super strength codeine if you want to share, Maryz?

EcclefechanTart · 08/10/2015 15:48

I am neither popular nor rude.

Have I therefore proved the OP correct, or is there an error in my reasoning?

FattyNinjaOwl · 08/10/2015 16:08

You best bring some with you then. We keep forgetting! Grin this cloak works well Wink

dancerchancer · 08/10/2015 16:09

Why should it get deleted. I've made a reasonable comment. No personal insults, just a genuine opinion I have.
