Inspired by electricflyzapper. I am compleatly envious of some of your usernames! I wish I was creative enough to think of one that good. Am I the only person who gets this? Is it unreasonable? If you also suffer username inferiority complex, whose username do you covert?

On Property once, I had a reply to a query about loo seats from SanFairyAnne which I thought excellent for a poster who clearly enjoys getting to the bottom of plumbing matters.

Obviously, also a clever Francophone homonym as well!

I love the names that reference favourite books, films and TV programmes. Plus the amazingly funny punny ones and play one words ones.

I love all the ones already mentioned. One of the ones that hasn't yet is ShatnersBassoon.

I also like TondelayoSchwarzkopf. Has a nice ring to it. Like TitsalinaBumsquash.

I like clever ones based on TBBT too. TheSecondMrsHowardWolowitz was genius.

There was someone called VelosaraporLivesUpstairs I liked that name, also TheLyingWitchinTheWardrobe was a great name.

Yes, that's me too! I name change constantly now and I'm sure there are loads of old 'faces' here who used to be 'known' doing the same, so we all go around the board like Lone Rangers thinking everyone we once knew is gone. But really we are all still here in our cloaks of invisibility, unwittingly bumping into one another day in, day out.

It's a sign of the times I think. It's a massive massive board these days, too much potential for being outed with facebook/twitter, mainstream media crossovers, fucking Jeffrey, etc etc. Gives me the willies. I preferred it when everything around here was green fields.

I think the shocking/rude/sweary names are only funny if they are also clever. Just throwing in some random profanity for shock value does nothing whatsoever to make me smile.

I like AnyFucker because of the history behind it though.
