Sorry for the caps but I feel strongly about this!

A friend has just basically told the world on facebook that her and her husband (both with waist length hair) share the SAME hairbrush by telling the world her husband asked could he have his own as he has to remove her black coloured toupee from it every time he uses it! Shock This makes me feel sick!! Surely you don;t SHARE a hairbrush?! WTAF! AIBU?

Sorry don't get the squeamishness. If you've exchanged bodily fluids with someone then using the same hairbrush isn't a big deal surely?

We all share hairbrushes in our house too. We wash our hair every other day, and we're pretty clean!

I probably wouldn't want anyone else using my hairbrush though.

Good grief, I thought this was going to be about dragon butter or some other don't-Google-brain-bleach thing, not sharing hairbrushes.

Sharing a toothbrush I might be able to muster a eww for, but hairbrushes? Meh.

I just took it as the norm that everyone had their own hairbrush. My mum and I always did when I lived at home.

Seriously? Nothing wrong with that. It's hair. As long as they're not brushing their public hair, I'm sure it's fine.

What do you do when you go to a hairdresser? Insist they use a new brush?

The only gross thing is that he asked if he could have another, a grown man is perfectly capable of thinking that he wants his own brush and then buy one with no fuss.
