Sorry for the caps but I feel strongly about this!

A friend has just basically told the world on facebook that her and her husband (both with waist length hair) share the SAME hairbrush by telling the world her husband asked could he have his own as he has to remove her black coloured toupee from it every time he uses it! Shock This makes me feel sick!! Surely you don;t SHARE a hairbrush?! WTAF! AIBU?

ArgyMargy, I know that, thanks. I was merely making a point that at some point, someone in your family will use your hairbrush. No one has gone through life without sharing one, for goodness sake Hmm.

SoupDragon · 18/09/2015 17:41

Pretty please?

This does not form a grammatically correct sentence. Please desist from posting crap.

m0therofdragons · 18/09/2015 17:46

In our house we have lots of brushes yet struggle to find them each morning so we use the same one for all of us - me and 3dds (dh has short hair). We wash regularly and only one dc has ever had headlice.

Narp · 18/09/2015 17:49

I think if you are prepared to have sex with someone, sharing a hairbrush is nothing

FarFromAnyRoad · 18/09/2015 17:55

I agree with Worra. Every time you see something that you are sure is the maddest thing you've ever seen along comes another one just like this OP.
This is going to take some topping but sadly I fear it won't be long.
OP - I'm intrigued - WTAF is the matter with you?

sugar21 · 18/09/2015 17:58

So if you go to the hairdresser do you take your own brush?

That's all i'm posting as the grammar police are out of the English year 7 class.Grin

Youarentkiddingme · 18/09/2015 18:00

Seriously? I'm more surprised you're horrified they share one than the fact they share one Grin

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 18/09/2015 18:02

People who fuck each other take far more of the other person's gross bodily emissions into and onto their bodies than a bit of hair grease transferring from scalp to scalp.

ArgyMargy · 18/09/2015 18:17

So about this toupee then...

hazeyjane · 18/09/2015 18:19

As an aside, I once had to buy a hairbrush from a chemist, because I turned round to see it sticking out of dd2's candyfloss like hair. I paid for it and we had to cut it out of her hair.

maybebabybee · 18/09/2015 18:20

Is the OP coming back?

NotMeNotYouNotAnyone · 18/09/2015 18:20

They share bodily fluids, a hairbrush is nothing

I lend and borrow hairbrushes with friends with no problem. I did have a housemate once who used to borrow my razor which I found gross, it wasn't just a one off emergency either, she did it regularly. I started keeping it in my room eventually.

But weird to share it on fb

hiddenhome2 · 18/09/2015 18:27

I use the cat's brush on the kids when I can't find the comb.

Oldraver · 18/09/2015 18:32

We're not fussed about sharing of hairbrushes, though DS has his own as he was a nightmare with brushing his hair so got him something gentle I need something more robust

But woe betide anyone leaving hair in any of my brushes...hence why my Mum is banned form using any of mine

elQuintoConyo · 18/09/2015 18:35

DP and I have his 'n' hers pube combs, I wouldn't dream of borrowing his, or vice versa Shock

But hairbrushes? Nah, couldn't give a flying ferret.

ForeverLivingMyArse · 18/09/2015 18:42

you comb your pubes?

SmugairleRoin · 18/09/2015 18:44

Exactly narp. Sex involves swapping fluids etc and is much worse (if you're gonna look at it like that) than just sharing a brush!

TittyBiskwits · 18/09/2015 18:45

Pube combs?!!

Libitina · 18/09/2015 18:45

you comb your pubes?

This!!!

StrangeLookingParasite · 18/09/2015 18:49

How old are you, OP?

Junosmum · 18/09/2015 18:50

My husband doesn't use a hair brush. I've been with him 9years and only just realised this. Hmmm. He. Never. Brushes. His. Hair.

ahbollocks · 18/09/2015 18:50

Pubs combs.

Do you have very long pubes?

Pubes tangles?

ahbollocks · 18/09/2015 18:51

Have also just realised I have never seen dh brush his hair

My brain is fucked
