Am I being unreasonable to not want them to bother making a new series of Blackadder? The series set in the First World War was quite lame compared to the others and the millennium episode was far from tv gold.

Except that Blackadder's status rises, with each preceding series (3rd in line to the throne, Lord, butler to the prince regent, captain) - so if it were a prequel, he'd have to be the Emperor. Which could be good for a few laughs, actually.

I can't believe you didn't like the WW1 series. There were duff episodes in the previous 2 series, but in the last they were all classics.

The first series is total shite and doesn't count.
