to take back my used Jo Malone candles as the quality has been declining for years

Anyone else noticed the decline in quality both of the fragrance and flam burn.

I bought the pomegranate noir and I'm really disappointed , was thankfully the small one for 40 quid but still want to return it but I have had it lit for an hour or so.

I've just gone on amazon and some of those diptyque candles are over £100!! Wtf!

Jml is very overpriced, as is the whole fragrance industry, they are nice though. I buy essential oils and put them in thimble s on windowsills and wood burner , much cheaper and almost as nice.

Jo loves do a wood fire candle for 350 quid. I jutt light the fire instead.

Doe - I agree the prices are ridiculous. I got a candle habit when I quit smoking and used the money I saved to buy something "naice" that I would not have lashed out on before. I am now lost to all other types of candle...Sad

Funnily enough I feel like that about Pomegranate noir-it literally has no smell. It's barely noticeable. Diptique still do strong smelling candles, but their fragrances aren't for everyone. I'm yet to sniff one I really like!

I bought my Mum a Jo Malone candle a few years ago as a treat. It emitted very little fragrance and burnt black even though she only lit it for short amounts of time. She took it back to the retailer and they replaced it no problem. She didn't relight it, just used it ornamentally and burned cheap candles instead! So, I would say bring it back Grin

I would definitely take it back and would expect they will replace it for you/switch to another scent. I have always found them very helpful and I love their candles and lots else. Whilst people are bashing those who choose to spend £42 on a candle bash me as a I happily pay £68 for their vitamin E scrub and yes you did read that correctly SIXTY EIGHT POUNDS and worth every penny. Plus whilst admitting this I will just be upfront and say Hello, I'm BeaLola and I'm a candleholic .... I just bought another one from Neom .. Now they do lovely and.es, body oils, bath oils - you get the drift lol
