What is the inspiration behind your user name.
Mine is my love of the sea tranquility lighthouses and of course no light house would be complete without a ghost

I've changed names recently and this one is inspired by the moment I realised I'd changed how I had responded to DD because of Bing Bunny's father!
Yup - I parent in the manner of cartoon characters!

CoffeeAndOranges · 19/06/2015 17:30

RackofPeas Grin that's brilliant!

Mine is a sentence from a book at university all about sentence structure. I don't know why but I just like the way the words sound together. I would never choose to have coffee and oranges together I just like the balance of the words. Don't know why it popped into my head 16 years later when trying to think of a random, non-identifiable name!

I'm sure I'll change it at some point but I've only been here about a month so hopefully haven't totally outed myself just yet!

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 19/06/2015 17:30

Great name, PanGalacticGargleBlaster.

Momagain1 · 19/06/2015 17:32

barrow: i am in Glasgow. Let's get a drink sometime!

My name was a last second unimaginative change from something more distinct I use elsewhere, didnt want to be found by simple google search. I have a big gap between child 2 and 3, so, Mom Again. Which had been used so I stuck a number 1 on there.

I meant to only use it long enough to learn my way around, and then change to something more interesting. But I can't remember my password. Anyone else sometimes wonder if you already have an account when your choice comes up as already existing?

Chillyegg · 19/06/2015 17:36

I was a particularly chilly egg that day

Goshthatsspicy · 19/06/2015 17:40

A couple of weekends ago, l tried some Morrisons own brand Bombay mix. Grin my name is my experience.

FiveExclamations · 19/06/2015 17:42

"Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind."

Terry Pratchett again.

BlackTrivet · 19/06/2015 17:43

I name change regularly - inspiration for this name was simply a purchase I made the day I changed it.

TheWintersmith · 19/06/2015 18:09

maxxytoe · 19/06/2015 18:15

my sons called max and he has nice toes

mrsmalcolmreynolds · 19/06/2015 18:19

Because were it not for DH I'd aim to misbehave with Nathan Fillion .... A LOT!

Ginormarse · 19/06/2015 18:27

Self explanatory ( I have a big fat bottom, would like it to be smaller and less fat but I like eating crisps too much)

Twowrongsdontmakearight · 19/06/2015 18:31

Because DC claim I say it all the time!

GerundTheBehemoth · 19/06/2015 18:38

My name comes from a fictional children's radio programme, invented on the spot by Graeme Garden on 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue'.

Pedestriana · 19/06/2015 18:45

Another Terry Pratchett inspired one here. If I feel the need to change my name, I keep it TP based.

ChwatFeechers · 19/06/2015 18:50

What a charming Scouse woman called me after asking ''who the fuck did I think I was looking at'' when she was being dragged out of a nightclub.

BlueBlueSea · 19/06/2015 18:52

Because I love the sea and the colour blue. Whenever we are talking about weekends away or holidays my choice is always by the sea. I can sit for hours just looking at the sea.

Purpleflamingos · 19/06/2015 18:55

I named changed and my pyjamas at the time were white cotton summer ones with little purple flamingos on.

DJThreeDog · 19/06/2015 18:57

I have TWO Terry Pratchett names for name changes

Grin
Nibledbyducks · 19/06/2015 19:36

Thank you editthis! Grin

VioletVelvet · 19/06/2015 19:42

Mine is a character from Ben & Holly, DD's favourite programme. I think we were watching at the time of my most recent name change. I tried other characters' names first, but they were all taken already, so I settled on Violet instead Smile

PHANTOMnamechanger · 19/06/2015 19:48

I have been here about 6 or 7 years and had various names, none of which have been special or significant at all. Occasionally a temporary name is related to a particular thread if I have NC for something identifying/embarrassing. I am usually phantomnamechanger but the capitals were put in as a festive name last hallowe'en and I have never changed them back again!!!!

wheelycote · 19/06/2015 19:55

My eldest couldn't say helicopter and would say wheeltcote instead...he was shouting wheelycote when I was trying to come up with a username

DearTeddyRobinson · 19/06/2015 19:56

From one of my favourite childhood books.

I believe the correct word for anticlockwise is 'widdershins' Blush

irretating · 19/06/2015 20:04

It's a deliberate misspelling of irritating.
