It's just a gut feeling that the nation(s) won't vote as predicted.

What the hell is wrong with everyone's ears on the BBC coverage?

Both Andy Marr and Nick Robinson look as though they are half-elvish.

Confused
AbbeyRoadCrossing · 07/05/2015 22:37

That's true OneNight there's a lot of people hanging about and it's unclear who's who. I showed them my polling card thinking they were the people to show it to on the way in but didn't answer their question.
Meanwhile my parents deliberately lie on the poll, they think it's fun

DrHarleenFrancesQuinzel · 07/05/2015 22:37

The pound is going up because of the exit polls

Please can you explain to someone who this sort of stuff goes over their head.

Im going on holiday in 3 weeks and still need to change my money. Is it a good thing?

sebsmummy1 · 07/05/2015 22:40

If the exit polls are correct does that mean Con/Lib dem get enough seats to govern?

onedayiwillmissthis · 07/05/2015 22:40

off to bed...will sleep soundly knowing that whatever the result I will be able to live with myself...

I voted for UKIP.

worksallhours · 07/05/2015 22:42

Ajockalypse Now

Totally love this headline. Grin

Hi5Hello · 07/05/2015 22:42

Only legitimate result is labour minority with deals with SNP and libdems and I think DC knows this. Him to stand down at 8am

MsIngaFewmarbles · 07/05/2015 22:42

The turnout looks to be pretty high. In my area its always good but I've seen queues all day today.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:42

I need to be at work tomorrow! Can work from home though. Still early days... What is most important is the actual results of course. just heard Labour person says they might try and form a government because of the LD losses.

Really!!!!!!

Hi5Hello · 07/05/2015 22:43

And I have always voted Tory and campaigned for party

flippinada · 07/05/2015 22:43

sebsmummy if the exit poll is accurate then yes - you need 326 seats for a majority. If I'm wrong someone will no doubt correct me.

Bunnyjo · 07/05/2015 22:43

Yes, sebsmummy1, 326 is needed for an overall majority.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:44

Yes, investors and shares tend to do well with a Tory gov.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:45

His hello. Don't talk such rubbish!

sebsmummy1 · 07/05/2015 22:45

DrHarleen a strong pound means you need less sterling to buy a Euro or a dollar. So yes it's good.

wowfudge · 07/05/2015 22:46

I think most people had local elections too. Less disruptive and more cost-effective to run two ballots on the same day.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:46

It's right that the turnout is high. Well done for people voting. My sister doesn't vote then moans about things.

Let's wait and see..

worksallhours · 07/05/2015 22:47

DrHarleen ... it means you will get more dollars for your pound.

sebsmummy1 · 07/05/2015 22:48

Oooooh I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight! I say it will be another term of DC and the lib dems. Would be interesting though to see if Labour back tracks on getting into bed with the SNP if the numbers go in their favour instead.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:48

What it does show is that Scotland are looking after their own interests totally.

guinnessgirl · 07/05/2015 22:52

Sad Angry Shock

tilliebob · 07/05/2015 22:52

Eh, don't be tarring all of Scotland as a single entity. I didn't vote for the bloody SNP and never will

worksallhours · 07/05/2015 22:53

UKIP second place in Sunderland S.

Woah.

TooManyHouseGuests · 07/05/2015 22:53

DrHarleen the pound would be increasing in value because the Tories are expected to win according to the exit poll. Currency speculators believe that the economy would be stronger under a Conservative lead government and therefore buy pounds pushing the pound's value up.
