To think changing your tampon in a gym change room is a bit foul?

I was at the gym earlier today, getting changed after my shower in the change room while chatting to a friend. A woman came out of the showers wrapped in her towel. Before my friend and I knew what was happening, she had whipped out her tampon and put it in the bin!

I didn't know that about rag money Abbey. Had always just thrown pants away when they'd come to the end of their lives. If I give a bag of old, clean pants to a charity shop and mark 'rags' they'd be able to get some money for it then? Socks with holes in? I know Oxfam take bras.

LadyCatherine yes I think most charities have a rag person come round. I worked for one of the bigger names so might be worth asking to check at the shop as not sure if everyone takes rags. Rag money is quite high at the moment, so holey towels, old bed sheets stuff like that they can get good money for (it's done on weight)

TBH I am with Bogeyface. I wouldn't do this myself and I don't think it's naice behaviour, but I wouldn't freak out unless there were drips! I might cringe a bit though.

Saw a woman filing her feet with one of those callus removing grater thingies in the gym changing room last week, and all the foot shavings of dead skin were falling on the floor, and she didn't even try to pick them up. That bothered me more than the tampon thing would.
