to be agog at Amanda Holden's frozen face on This Morning today?

Why, Amanda, just why? It looks terrible, does she think nobody notices? I can't watch her without squirming with embarassment for her. She is clearly a beautiful woman and would be even more so if her face was capable of movement above her chin! And why do ITV allow it? That's my rant for the day.

I saw her today and she's definitely overdone it. She looked like she could hardly move any muscles in her face!

I have been wondering why no one has commented on this for the past year. It is literally the worst Botox and filler job I have seen in the media.

I actually think it is a form of self harm Sad.

This is a by-product of the so-called modern world isn't it though? Where women's rights and equality have advanced way beyond the 1950s, us lucky ladies Hmm . As a woman you had best be wrinkle-free for as long as is humanly possible or be relegated to bitchy difficult MIL or slightly barmy old dearie roles or, horror of horrors, on edge knowing you will be replaced by the younger, prettier version of you imminently.

I was alarmed by her appearance on Graham Norton last Friday. Beside Carey Mulligan and another gorgeous actress she looked very plastic and ill at ease too. She is gorgeous; no need to mess with herself like this.

I can't understand why women want to inject botullism toxin into their face?!
If you injected it into your leg muscles you would lose the ability to walk - why would you do this to yourself?

It's ridiculous, some of them are becoming unrecognisable! Her, Courtney Cox, Renee Zellweger.. It feels like they're aliens. A wrinkly woman is beautiful.. Crow's feet and laughter lines especially!

I think she doesn't need to mess around with herself. It is very noticeable. I am the first to admit I am very far from perfect but she has got incredibly thin too. She is pretty and doesn't need it.

Thing is, many people on this thread have said "she's beautiful anyway, she doesn't need it" - maybe that's why she thinks she DOES need it, to stay "beautiful". It must be very tough to be aware that your employability largely hinges on the way you look. It'd take someone very secure in their career and talents to reject that and I don't think AH is that secure.

I agree though - she currently looks like a beautiful woman who has had work rather than a beautiful woman.

im watching Phillip (gorgeous) Schofield & Gino, laughter lines and all..and then Amanda next to them, her face barely moving. Can she open her mouth properly? I don't really want to knock her tho..its the sexist inequality in the media that causes women to alter themselves so they can stay in work and get decent roles. The one that saddened me the most was Renee Z..she had beautiful, unusual looks. & now - she doesn't. Will the superficiality of judging women solely by their looks and physique ever change in the media? Sadly, I doubt it...its entrenched. & women are the victims of it all.

Albeit Im not against cosmetic surgery or enhancement its a person's own business if they want to do all that and they then feel better about themselves. But, AH is in the public eye so she is bound to draw commentary. At least she's not in the States..she'd have been given a pillowface...

I don't really understand it. Isn't it supposed to look natural? She must know it doesn't. i can't imagine what she looks like without it now.She has 2 daughters, they are quite young but I wonder what they think?

She looks like she is wearing a mask. I presume she isn't. I don't like her much but it's a pity she thinks she has to do this to the extent she has.

Amanda is obsessed with boobs and nipples. I wonder if her kids get any hassle for their mother's ridiculous behaviour.
