You're welcome fluffymouse

I think we need to persevere. Catalogue our vast collection of SS and do something with those.

forago · 17/04/2015 00:40

horrible people, what a way to spend your child's first year.

Tutteredboast · 17/04/2015 00:57

How much money was raised?

kali110 · 17/04/2015 02:32

Appears my comments early april were deleted and iv been blocked from the group so i can't make any comments!
Seems they do not like questions.
They just delete your comments and block you.
Werent even rude!

KoalaDownUnder · 17/04/2015 02:40

YANBU.

Exactly what they've done.

Scumbags.

DrinkDracula · 17/04/2015 07:27

I knew it would happen and that they were bullshitting.

I can't stand people like that.

youarekiddingme · 17/04/2015 07:29

Found you!

londonrach · 17/04/2015 07:31

Has anyone contacted any of the papers re follow up. Fb page now almost died with occasional person asking. Huns have gone

trufflesnout · 17/04/2015 08:32

How much money was raised?

I don't think they've ever actually disclosed it - but it will be in excess of 15k.

chocolateyay · 17/04/2015 08:38

Was this the baby that was born early when the parents were on holiday in the states? Then they realised that they didn't have any no mony set aside for the baby etc, and needed some very expensive baby stuff?

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 17/04/2015 08:39

I believe PayPal payments maxed out at £5k and they got £11k + via a crowd funding site

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 17/04/2015 08:41

It seems like they have got away with it. Easy money, wasn't it? Sad

Middlerose · 17/04/2015 09:50

I bet they don't even spend the money on Dax. I can imagine them having a few fake tans, haircuts, and the like, out of this money.

ShumbTucker · 17/04/2015 20:35

I don't have twitter but #payitback might take off nicely.

Some people just don't seem to know when it's time to do the right thing. Hmm

londonrach · 18/04/2015 20:56

Fb page now as people asking about what happened?

expatinscotland · 18/04/2015 20:59

People were daft to give them money.

I thought the us hospital paid for it all in the end. Sorry I didnt see the original thread. why were they asking for money?

expatinscotland · 18/04/2015 21:36

IIRC their travel insurance did. But they were never in any real danger. Having debt is not a criminal offense, nor could the hospital have ever chased them for it once they left the country.

Sounds like they used the money on themselves.

squoosh · 19/04/2015 02:47

I really hope this catches up with them.

fatlazymummy · 19/04/2015 06:51

It won't catch up with them. They haven't broken any laws. They're not a registered charity.
Gullible people gave them money and they can do whatever they want with it.
