To ask dog walkers to be considerate

I have a garden to the side of house and people seem to think it is fine to allow their dogs to do their business in it, i asked one dog owner to not allow his dog on garden his response -but I'll clean it up, fine but why cant they clean it up off their own gardens or even clean up off pavement....why allow dog to go in someone elses garden in first place?

Hate the tree poos. I sometimes leave a bag tucked under a bush to pick up 40 mins later en route back again, but if I ever found the moron misguided individual who leaves bags hanging on the brambles or lying by the path for days on end there would be Words.

I suspect it's because someone else is there and they can pretend, because anyone actually getting them later, well they do and they're not there anymore are they.

I sometimes leave bags to get on my way back, but when you do that they're only there for half an hour or so.

Not excusing it in the slightest, cos it's vile, BUT couldn't this be solved by getting a bin put there by the council? Will benefit dog owners including those who currently carry the poop with them and other folk too.

The streets of London are littered with poo bags that had fallen out of people's pocket or off fences. This was worse for me because as soon as some unsuspecting soul stepped on the bag, it shot the contents across the pavement. We used to call them Devil's icing bags.
So glad I moved out of dogshit city Smile

Sirch, there's no rhyme or reason, I just don't know how they can stomach tying the little thing up in the first place. I had several neighbours that tied them to trees or fences, I prefured it though because if you bumped into them in the street and they wanted to chat, but had a steamy bag of shit in their pocket, it was really unpleasant.

When we cut the hedge along the pavement in a month or so, we'll find it has sprouted a surprising number of little poo bags on its inner branches over the winter. Our tree branches are just out of reach, so a handy hedge is the ideal place for dog-shit storage. No bugger ever comes back for them.

Katie - there are plenty of dog bins round our way, but you still see bags tied to trees. I think it's some weirdy cult thing...

LarrytheCucumber · 16/04/2015 13:25

We don't have poo bag trees round here but I have noticed them in some of the local country parks. Most of the routes are circular (round lakes etc) so I doubt if people intend to go back for them. I just thought it was a protest at the lack of poo bins Blush

Yuk to the cult of poo bags!
