To fancy Ser Jorah from Game of Thrones?

Actually maybe this is one for the weird crushes thread in Chat.

After much persuasion from friends I recently started watching GoT from the start and have really got into it. All of my female friends have been harping on about bloody Jon Snow and Robb Stark but quite frankly as conventionally handsome as they are they do very little for me I'm afraid. There is however something very alluring about Jorah, his rugged handsomeness and unfailing devotion to Daenerys.

It's the same actor who played one of Lady Mary's many suitors in an early series of Downton isn't it? I didn't fancy him in that.

Am I weird?

Saw Littlefinger not long ago, I was on the way to collect the DCs from school. He was walking towards me and I approached him giving him the shifty eye as I couldn't figure out why I knew him.

It's taken me till now (reading this thread) to cotton on it was him. I'm going to claim it was because he wasn't wearing this dress thingie and not due to me being slow...

Also my brain gets confused thinking about Jaime.
He was so horrible at the start, can still be pretty horrible. But is also very honorable and loyal and lovely and quite seXy. But shagged his sister. It's no not the kind of behaviour you can just overlook is it. although I want to

Moln I know someone whose kids go to Littlefinger's school. She says all the mothers try and chat him up but apparently he's v shy.

I've no idea where his kids go to school. It's possibly it's the same school as mine (depending on their ages and where he actually lives). It's possibly as I have form with not recognising famous people and generally just thinking I've met them somewhere before. Confused

If I had to marry one it would be Tyrion because he'd make me laugh, be very loyal, and is the one decent, intelligent, kind man on there. Great character. Ned Stark comes 2nd for some of those reasons and the Sean Bean factor, but he's too earnest and serious for me.

For a shag - Littlefinger, he's got a dodgy haircut and accent but fab clothes, and he's a bastard but you know he'd be utterly filthy and fun in bed. I'd give Jaime a whirl as well as such a pretty boy, but I'd need a mind wipe to get over knowing where he'd already been stuffing his sausage.

Ser Jorah - yep, totally get that as well. Again, mind wipe the selling slaves and treachery parts, and he's very handsome in a bit of rough sort of way, educated and cultured but tough as old boots at the same time, my perfect combo. And the whole worship the ground you walk on thing wouldn't hurt. He's the one who would die for you.

puppy he escaped from Melisandre and Stannis as they were going to sacrifice him - last we saw him he was rowing away from dragon stone.

New Daario is lovely, a massive improvement on the old one who looked really greasy. New one looks quite like my DH, so I'm probably biased though, but I'm not a fan of the overly tanned and oiled look that the old one seemed to have going on.

I heart Tyrion also - I want him to get it together with Brienne of Tarth - now that would be something. He's need ropes and crampons - bring it on!

Jon Snow, frankly, has me champing at the bit.

Iain Glen... he's just too RADA for me. He's always standing around, in the special regulation drama school 'Arms Akimbo' pose. And his voice always sounds like he is enunciating a voiceover for Galaxy or Razors. Plus he lives round my way and I see him playing rubbish tennis in pretty dodgy sports gear. Hahahaaha! - in the manner of Ramsey whatsisface.

p.s. I used to have the hots for Aiden Gillen in anything, but his Petr Bailysh(?)character is just too silly. I echo the panto comparison.

Look. You've all got this wrong.

You need to have a triple king size bed. Or a barn even. And in it, there'd be you. With Ser Jorah (for sheer style), Jon Snow (for youthful sizzle), Eddard Stark (for some loving BDSM) and Khal Drogo (for raw passion).

Actually speaking of Littlefinger, I picked up the idea he didn't have sex (despite running a brothel) because he was do devoted to Mrs Stark.

Should I just give up trying to watch anything!!?

Old Daario had a face like a bag of spanners. (Sorry to objectify men but - tis true). I thought the casting people had a total misfire with him. New Daario is actually OK looking.

Honourable mentions for Oberyn, Stannis and Gendry.

I rather liked that face-changer man who gave Aria the Valar Morghulis (sic) coin/token/thing too. Not conventionally good looking but very charismatic. Also ended up with a peculiar crush on The Hound.

Yeah Emerald he might as well be, judging from the state of his forehand. Either way, looks better in armour than sweaty joggers, deffo.

Moin I am warming to my theme on Aiden Gillen - actually always enjoyed him, but didn't see him in Love/hate - must look it up, but he's been amazing in loads of theatre stuff I've seen.... 1st production of Mojo at Royal Court, seriously sexy Caliban in the Tempest at the Almeida and I think he was even in Marvin's Room way back when. Yes, always had my eye on the boy... and there's always Queer as Folk, in which he is bloody brilliant. Phwoarrr!
