To fancy Ser Jorah from Game of Thrones?

Actually maybe this is one for the weird crushes thread in Chat.

After much persuasion from friends I recently started watching GoT from the start and have really got into it. All of my female friends have been harping on about bloody Jon Snow and Robb Stark but quite frankly as conventionally handsome as they are they do very little for me I'm afraid. There is however something very alluring about Jorah, his rugged handsomeness and unfailing devotion to Daenerys.

It's the same actor who played one of Lady Mary's many suitors in an early series of Downton isn't it? I didn't fancy him in that.

Am I weird?

The character of The Mountain may have been a bit a lot of a bastard, but the actor is lovely IRL. He's one of the top strongmen in the world, and seems a real sweetie when being interviewed. He really is as big as he seemed on screen, no trick photography or standing on blocks to make him look that tall (6'9") Shock

YADNBU. Ian Glenn is friggen gorgeous. I mentioned it once to DP who looked at me a bit Confused and said he thought he was the spitting image of his dad so it's not been mentioned since...Blush

LunaMay aww Samwell is a cutie, lets hope they stick to the book and he gets a little love in Season 5.

As for me, I'll take all of the Lannisters - Tyrion, Jaime, Cersei and Tywin. Also, I quite fancy Stannis, teeth grinding and all. Wouldn't mind a bit of Brynden Tully too.

But Tywin is my main man. Been crushing on Charles Dance since I was sixteen. I have a letter from him and a signed photo, such a lovely bloke Wink

Iain Glen/Jorah is quite lovely, his character in GoT is one of my favourites. Kit Harington who plays Jon Snow is actually 5'9 IRL, he's not really tall but not tiny either.
I prefer Jon Snow and Daario (Daenerys' new champion from the Second Sons) over all the other men, then Jaime Lannister, but only with long hair and a beard.

In the first series I thought I was going to hate Jaime, but he's actually really starting to grow on me. The sister shagging is still really off putting though, bluerghh

Every time this thread starts, I have to admit that at the Red Wedding I developed a massive and quite shameful crush on Roose Bolton Blush Just how he looks though, the character is awful in the show and even worse in the books

Also massively fancy Stannis. I went all unnecessary when he emerged from the woods at the end of the last series...

Jaime was well fit at the beginning, but since his haircut and beard loss, he looks like my (really not all that attractive) BIL and I have gone right off him!

And his character is such a mindfuck as well, it's like:

You arsehole!
How could you do that you prick!
Ah maybe he is not so bad...
Him and Brienne are quite sweet together...
Oh, what a dick!
Ah, it was good of him to do that...

Cant be doing wit that sort of bloke in my life!

Ot I was in a cafe in Soho a while ago and keliase was in there, barely recognisable without the blonde hair. From the voice I'm sure it was her, it was a relaxed place and was so tempted to ask for a selfie as she's my fave, but as she was with someone thought it very rude. Still wish I had of done though

In the first series I think ser jorah's devotion to Dany is a bit creepy tbh prepares for flames Grin
She seems like a little girl at first (is she supposed to be about 15? She looked about 12) and it's just a bit wrong the way he looked at her etc

But then I don't mind him as the show progressed
