StealthPolarBear · 07/08/2017 21:20

Wow greggers. Do you mind me asking how old youe great grandma is

StealthPolarBear · 07/08/2017 21:22

Dh and I have started watching nation z. Near the beginning there is a very elderly woman who it is accepted is near death. She's in her early 60s :o but this is post apocalyptic so I suppose that is the point

MsHarry · 07/08/2017 21:22

Yes this thread is old but someone has dredged it up and the point still stands so if you don't like it stop wasting your time zombie police!

LordPercy · 07/08/2017 21:23

If I've to work until I'm 68 I don't think 60 should be seen as old. If I'm old I shouldn't be having to work for 50 years should I? I should be retiring at....55? I wish

At 20 I would have said 60 was old. In my forties I'd say 75 is old.

MsHarry · 07/08/2017 21:24

Good point Lord Percy me too!

lovemylover · 07/08/2017 21:24

NC for this, i am in my early 70s, ,you are as young as you feel,
I have a lover, a little younger, and sex life is amazing, so no 70 isnt old unless you let it be, unlless you have health problems of course ,which does make a difference, Luckily i am in good health ,

RustyBear · 07/08/2017 21:24

This thread isn't really old, it's just middle-aged...

Sparklingbrook · 07/08/2017 21:25

It's Zombie Thread Resurrection day on MN today. Grin

StealthPolarBear · 07/08/2017 21:26

Msh the same posters would be complaining if a thread was started that's "been done before"
Zombie threads do annoy me when someone resurrects a thread from 6 years ago about a constipated infant but this sort of general discussion is fine imo

MsHarry · 07/08/2017 21:26

That's great love and I'm glad to hear I might have at least 30 years to enjoy ahead! Oh and yes we know it's an old thread but fyi, new posters have come along and can still discuss the thread, OK?

Sparklingbrook · 07/08/2017 21:27

Everything on Mn has been done before. Many times. Grin

StealthPolarBear · 07/08/2017 21:28

Ooh deja vu

Wilburissomepig · 07/08/2017 21:28

60 is old? Really? I don't think so, but it's up to you. No one can tell you what to think so it's a bit of a silly question really.

AnnieAnoniMouse · 07/08/2017 21:30

Your Grandaughter has a point.

...however, if you keep reviving ZOMBIE threads you might not make old bones!!

chips4teaplease · 07/08/2017 21:32

PacificDogwod · 07/08/2017 21:32

Sparkling,, if you are as OOOOOOOOLD as me, you've seen every thing several times before and the ennui is killing me, killing, I tell'ya!!

Grin
echt · 07/08/2017 21:40

60? Old?

Not old enough for a pension, that's for sure.

Craigie · 07/08/2017 21:40

Yes, YABU. Troll.

OCSockOrphanage · 07/08/2017 21:40

My DM retired at 78 from a physically arduous PT mental health nursing job because she said it became too much for her strength. She is still in very good health for 82, but my DMiL has been in frail health for 20 years. I am 61 tomorrow, so still youthful, but a bit crinkly.

OllyBJolly · 07/08/2017 21:41

Geez. I'm 55 and still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up!

danTDM · 07/08/2017 21:42

60 is absolutely NOT old age!
35 is not middle
Nutter !90 is old age

StealthPolarBear · 07/08/2017 21:42

This thread is brilliant :)

danTDM · 07/08/2017 21:44

Oh God another Zombie thread,
MN has gone cray cray.

2beesornot2beesthatisthehoney · 07/08/2017 21:50

My mother is 86 . She still looks after "old people" who are often younger than her. She is not old appparently. Grin

OCSockOrphanage · 07/08/2017 21:51

Sometimes, zombies resurrect ideas worth re-visiting. Just a thought.
