I think they are all a bunch of smarmy knobs?

McFox · 02/04/2015 21:13

Shocker, yet another thread descends into ill-informed anti-Scottish rhetoric. Yawn.

Chippednailvarnish · 02/04/2015 21:14

Nigel isn't charismatic, he a knob.

Just like the rest of them frankly.

Sparklingbrook · 02/04/2015 21:14

I wouldn't buy a used car off any of them.

99pokerface · 02/04/2015 21:14

No ones said I agree with Nick yet lol

DC nearly said it dam me and oh are playing politcal bingo

SouthWestmom · 02/04/2015 21:14

Nigel and Nick are the best at this, they look like they are talking off the cuff. Ed and Dave are too scripted. Cba with the smaller parties.

Fluffyears · 02/04/2015 21:15

I knew a man who was disabled however his benefits pushed him £5 over the threshold for free prescriptions etc and he was on masses of medication. He ended up being £8000 a year better off when they became free and as he had 4 children (was injured in an accident) this was beneficial to him.

Fluffyears · 02/04/2015 21:17

Your right McFox I'll put soapbox away and get back to the topic. Oh here goes Nigel being racist!

VoteForAlanBstard · 02/04/2015 21:17

Its worth remembering that if you dont agree with any of the options on your TV you might want to check if there are any independents standing in your area.

And if you still dont agree with a party - make that known. Spoil your ballot paper. These are counted!

The worst thing anyone can do is just not vote. No vote = no voice

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/04/2015 21:18

Nigel is a one-trick pony and that is coming out very strongly in this debate.

Honsandrevels · 02/04/2015 21:18

If you get loads of meds you buy a prescription pre payment certificate, not pay £8 for each one.

MinesAPintOfTea · 02/04/2015 21:18

I want to vote for plaid cymru not in Wales

Thanks I will do no way I am voting for labpur but nobody else quite appeals

Cerealchanger · 02/04/2015 21:22

I can't work out if people are applauding Nigel's bigoted views, or applauding the others when they pull him up on it

Honsandrevels · 02/04/2015 21:22

The host's outfit looks like she has just stepped off a Clinique counter.

2rebecca · 02/04/2015 21:22

England spent a huge amount reorganising its nhs. That money would have allowed free prescriptions and lower tuition fees. No idea where the Tories are going to get the extra gps from for 7 day working when there is a shortage and med students don't want to be GPs.

99pokerface · 02/04/2015 21:22

Lol

manicinsomniac · 02/04/2015 21:24

Yes, that makes sense Fluffy and Euphemia - for Scotland. It doesn't help me understand why anyone who isn't Scottish would like what she is saying. She's Scotland for Scotland, not Scotland for the UK. Obviously. Which is fine but why then count her in with and support her over British MPs?

Chippednailvarnish · 02/04/2015 21:24

Is Leanne wearing blue tights?

Good to see three women in the debate though. (Four would be even better!). Also good to see the debate being controlled by a woman.

She did say that any SNP MPs in Westminister would vote to save the NHS for the whole of the UK Manicin.

99pokerface · 02/04/2015 21:27

Hate to say it but agree with Nigel free movement only works when countries have partorty of pay and living standards

When you start letting tin pot Republics in then in wont work

2rebecca · 02/04/2015 21:29

Because here in Scotland the snp are the most popular party. UK has to mean what it says
