traceybaybee · 02/04/2015 20:47

Nicola sturgeon is coming across very well. Im glad i voted snp

Owllady · 02/04/2015 20:47

40%of carers are going to lose their carers allowance under the next Tory government
I'll be one of them
I've already had to give up my almost full time job to care, for a very severely disabled child
I work 24/7 providing the kind of care that would costs them thousands a week
We claim carers allowance and dla, that's it
But we're not hardworking? Or I'm not, at least?Hmm
Their opinion is foul imo
If they cut the very small financial support we get (which isn't enough) we will be forced towards residential care which will cost the taxpayer in excess of six figures a year.
I doubt we are an isolated case

99pokerface · 02/04/2015 20:48

Sadly I think Nigel is coming across strong as is the scottish lady all the others espically the Welsh lady is very poor indeed

GGabcd · 02/04/2015 20:48

I'm wondering if Clegg has been asleep for the last 5 years, as he seems to be denying all knowledge of what's been going on and taking none of the blame.

ssd · 02/04/2015 20:49

DC mentioned his son.....knew he would

disgusting

Chippednailvarnish · 02/04/2015 20:49

Take the stress off people?!?!

OP posts:
OllyBJolly · 02/04/2015 20:50

The women are winning! All three are speaking with passion, intellect and knowledge. Farage, Cameron and Clegg are trotting out tired sound bites. Although Nick is engaging- this platform suits him.

Honsandrevels · 02/04/2015 20:50

Nick has just slithered out of Cameron's arse where he has been foe the past 5 years.

GGabcd · 02/04/2015 20:51

I hate when he uses his son for politics. I mean, I guess he has the right, but he's so smarmy about it!

Chippednailvarnish · 02/04/2015 20:51

I can't believe they are clapping Farrage

OP posts:
ssd · 02/04/2015 20:52

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 02/04/2015 20:53

disgusting
who are you to say when somone can and can't mention their dead child God i can't imagin that veer happening to me and any bereft parent in my view gets a pass to talk about their child when ever they want

worriedmum100 · 02/04/2015 20:54

I don't think DC can win when it comes to his son. We say we want our politicians to speak from the heart and be more "human." But he gets criticised for mentioning something that must have had a huge personal impact on him. I don't think even he would be cynical enough to use his son for political gain.

Honsandrevels · 02/04/2015 20:54

I thought they clapped Julie and her put down of Nigel's racism?

Discopanda · 02/04/2015 20:54

Just realised who Ed Milliband reminds me of...

ssd · 02/04/2015 20:55

99 he mentions him every bloody time its coming across as using his memory for his political gain

Chippednailvarnish · 02/04/2015 20:55

Except when they are using that child to defend their political policies in a televised debate, not honouring the child's memory...

rumbleinthrjungle · 02/04/2015 20:56

Nick Clegg is good at this kind of set up and he's presenting well. Sadly that doesn't translate to government.

Miliband... is letting people talk over him which isn't doing his image any favours, and this speaking direct to the camera thing - yes, very creepy. Off putting. It feels like a party political broadcast rather than engaging in discussion the way the others are.

ssd · 02/04/2015 20:57

why does Nick say "well look" at the start of every answer??

manicinsomniac · 02/04/2015 20:57

why the like for Nicola Sturgeon? She doesn't even (and won't) have a Westminster seat and all she cares about is Scotland - how can they justify free prescriptions for everyone in Scotland? No tuition fees for Scottish students? Does she want to replicate that for the rest of us - doubt it!

Fluffyears · 02/04/2015 20:59

I still like cleggy. He is a likeable guy, he had trouble getting anywhere being the minority party in the coalition. I'm voting lib dem or SNP...ooh immigration after the break let's see Nigel get crazy!
