sorry but I think it's his child I never experienced such a huge loss in my life and it's not for me to tell others they are not hounering their dead child

Just like I would never dream of telling somone how to grieve or when to it's up to the parents to decided not somone who has never met the child how they should be hounred

Fluffyears · 02/04/2015 21:00

Think Nicola has had a make-over, probably has a stylist now she's first minister.

peggyundercrackers · 02/04/2015 21:01

Sturgeon on is a liar - parking charges in the NHS are alive and well in Scotland... They didn't end them.

ssd · 02/04/2015 21:01

he'd look more sincere if he didnt mention his son in all these types of debates, any parent would feel sympathy for him, thats a given, we are all human, but the only thing he mentions about the NHS is how they looked after his son, not how he's trying to privatise it.

SNP = More power for Scotland.

Great, 'cept I live in Essex!

David Cameron should be ashamed of himself

OP posts:
NobbyNobs · 02/04/2015 21:04

'Does she want to replicate that for the rest of us - doubt it!'

Do any of your MP's want you to have that? Tories? Labour? Libs? UKIP?

Get on to your MP's, ask for your free medicine, free hospital parking and free education. Ask this government when they have 2 billion of NI contributions sitting doing nowt which could be used on the NHS.

You can hardly blame a country or a party for wanting these things for their citizens when you want them too.

manicinsomniac · 02/04/2015 21:04

Euphemia - The SNP

Justmuddlingalong · 02/04/2015 21:06

Ed Milliband's hand gesturing is getting right on my goat. It looks so contrived and unnatural.

manicinsomniac · 02/04/2015 21:07

I shouldn't think so nobbynobs , no. Because there's no way of funding it for 60 odd million people. And there'd be no way for Scotland to fund it for its population of 5ish million without money from the rest of the UK. I don't see how even the SNP can see it as fair.

ssd · 02/04/2015 21:08

I dont agree with free prescriptions. Where I live people park their BMW's and walk away from the chemist with their free prescription. I can pay for mine, even though I earn min wage. I think they should be for unemployed people or people on very low joint incomes. The money saved should be used for services for vulnerable and poorer people.

99pokerface · 02/04/2015 21:08

Ha Nick cleggs up grudge match with NF

manicinsomniac · 02/04/2015 21:09

absolutely ssd

Chippednailvarnish · 02/04/2015 21:09

I don't agree with free prescriptions either, I can afford to pay £8, so why should I be subsidised?

OP posts:
pieceofpurplesky · 02/04/2015 21:09

Why do people comment in milliband's looks and creepiness??? Cameron also looks at the camera and looks slimy. You would be being verbally battered if you commented in how a woman looks etc. why is it any different? In the discussion the other night he was called a nerd etc. the man is a politician and like the others it shouldn't matter what he looks like.

NobbyNobs · 02/04/2015 21:11

Get the unpaid tax paid.
Debt is now cleared.
We'd even be able to avoid taxing the disabled on their benefits.

Scrap trident. Billions saved. Defence my arse, if it comes down to using nukes USA and Russia will fuck us all up, UK will not be the player it thinks it will, we might slam the button in the final moments to know we took a few more poor bastards with us. I'd rather have an NHS, care for the elderly and education.

Tax wise
Scotland gets 8.3%
And puts 9.9% in.

Fluffyears · 02/04/2015 21:11

Manic scotland get given a budget each year by Westminster and our fiverent devise how that should be spent, free prescriptions was the choice they made. It comes out of our budget (we actually pay more in than we get back). Your government chooses not to use their budget for this so that is how it is justified, blame your government.

100sanemum · 02/04/2015 21:12

I can't understand the like for Nicola Sturgeon either, I know she has said no nuclear weapons but other than that she has not mentioned any actual policies.

The debate demonstrates to me that we have a really poor choice in the election!

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/04/2015 21:12

Nigel should invest in some lips.

99pokerface · 02/04/2015 21:12

I guess it matters how people come across that's why we have interviews ECt for me he's just seems weak

manicinsomniac · 02/04/2015 21:12

shit, why is Farage so charismatic - he's like Hitler! (in terms of being a hideous character who can turn on the charm for the masses, not literally like Hitler!)

My laptop is SO SLOW tonight - has the leaders' debate broken the internet?

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/04/2015 21:13

The reptilian look is not a good one.
