We went to my MIL house the other day for a cup of tea and to see their new puppy. I was sitting on the sofa and the dog kept on jumping on me, I made it clear I wasn't impressed. They told him off but didn't really bother to much. Then he jumped up again and bit a hole in my brand new tights. The little shit! My MIL saw it happen and told him off, she saw I was annoyed and said " oh where they expensive" to which I said, actually yes!
But then that was it, it wasn't mentioned again. AIBU to be pissed off about this?

My sil brought a puppy to my house once uninvited. Mega bouncy little thing that rampaged round my living room. Little fucker bit my tit in excitement.

I think when you have a dog you get a little bit immune to them; when you don't have one you're much more aware of their irritating behaviour. I'm not sure your MIL ought to have offered you the money for your tights, but perhaps a little 'sorry' wouldn't have hurt. But if you're going to visit a puppy ever again wear chain mail.

Our dog is an idiot and pees herself when people visit. Sometimes on their shoes. Sometimes not. It's a constant delight.

You should have strangled it with them.
