Oh I love her. She has reputation as being one of the nicest people in tv too.

FabulousFudge · 28/03/2015 20:12

I intensely dislike her too. She spoils the show for me.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 28/03/2015 20:13

Meh, she's styled how they style her.

I really like her. I think she's pretty true to herself and natural. I don't think she's up herself at all and she's certainly low key as far as 'celebrity' is concerned.

ssd · 28/03/2015 20:14

has she got a nice reputation then?

Mumteadumpty · 28/03/2015 20:14

I think she's great, and I love her look. Do male presenters attract the same criticisms?

Sparklingbrook · 28/03/2015 20:14

Ok if you say so Peas you must be absolutely correct in that she barely sees her kids. She seems the sort after all. She probably leaves them home on their own too.

MrsPeterQuill · 28/03/2015 20:16

peas would you ever say that about a male presenter?

I like Emma Willis. And how much she does or doesn't see her kids is feck all to me.

Salmotrutta · 28/03/2015 20:16

Mumtea - I don't like Will.I.Am's outfits either.

But the thread isn't about him.

RingtheBells · 28/03/2015 20:17

A lot of women have to work full time or not very good hours, why would she see her kids any less than them. Not everyone works part time.

Sparklingbrook · 28/03/2015 20:18

Well her husband is on the McBusted tour so the children have been abandoned surely?

rockinrobintweet · 28/03/2015 20:18

i love Emma Willis, Rita Ora on the other hand.. Shock????

MagicMojito · 28/03/2015 20:19

Peas I really think your coming across rather mean. Imo Its fine to comment negatively regarding her presenting/fashion/DJ skills (these are the things she's putting "out there" for public scrutiny/praise/whatever) but a bit off to call her parenting into question.

NigellasGuest · 28/03/2015 20:19

oh I really like her, she's so beautiful. I loved her style on Big Brother - very chic. Not so much on The Voice.

Undecided90 · 28/03/2015 20:19

What a vile sexist comment peasinpod

I like her and am somewhat Hmm she is only 2 years younger than me. She look so much better than I do.

BubGal13 · 28/03/2015 20:20

OP YANBU she seriously grates on me too.

Re. Peas have also wandered similar- course you don't need to live with her to know she would not see her kids much?! She presents a radio show- every Sunday- from 8am-12pm. So wouldn't be back home before 1. Thats half a day- every single weekend- gone.

The voice-filming during the week and live show Sat night- she'd arrive for filming at least mid Sat afternoon. So thats already 1 day a weekend- gone from not spending time with kids.

She has at least another 3/4 gigs during weekend/nights too. Hate the way channels find a presenter they like and churn them out for everything and anything when theres so much better out there.

Sparklingbrook · 28/03/2015 20:21

I think I'll leave you to it....

RingtheBells · 28/03/2015 20:21

I like her, perhaps she might do the X factor now Dermot has left

morethanpotatoprints · 28/03/2015 20:22

She speaks very highly of you too. Grin
Could you do better/

BubGal13 · 28/03/2015 20:22

btw have nothing against working mums- I am 1 too but when you are THAT loaded, essentially freelance so can be flexible, and doing so well in your career you could afford to pick and choose which work you take/refuse so you can send more time at home- I do find her choices selfish.

glenthebattleostrich · 28/03/2015 20:23

Yeah peas, how dare a woman be sucessful and have a career. We all know that as soon as you have kids you must give up your life and do nothing but follow your children around, waiting for their next whim.

Or you know, we could move on from the 1950's FFS.

FWIW, I really like her (and I so don't want to). I think she is fun, talented and has a dress sense that makes me feel normal!!!

And my inner feminist cheers to see her taking the main role on a Saturday night, even though she should be at home darning her husbands fucking underpants.

RingtheBells · 28/03/2015 20:25

So because she is successful she shouldn't work, let's leave that to the men.

ssd · 28/03/2015 20:25

shes still annoying me

I like Rita Orr she seems more genuine

OP posts:
JohnFarleysRuskin · 28/03/2015 20:26

She's great.

People are seriously criticising her for not spending what they deem enough time with her kids?

I suppose they do that to all working women do they? Their doctors, their teachers, their managers? Fucking hell.

Iamblossom · 28/03/2015 20:27

She is soooooo thin.....skeletal.......

FitzChivalry · 28/03/2015 20:27

I really like her. Think she is something different from all the identikit presenters there are.
