AIBU to say it's white and gold and anyone who says otherwise is sadly mistaken

The dress is SO obviously not blue and black.

I've read the explanation and I still don't get it.

And I see gold and blue/white.

Now, I've just clicked back into the same link, the one I posted here earlier, when the dress was clearly blue and black and now it is very definitely white and gold. Same PC in the same room too, but it's getting dark, does that make a difference?

Ok, it has now turned to pale blue and gold for me. The sun is now hitting my eyes from the left as opposed to the right this morning...

OMFG!!!! I just REALLY squinted and it went from off white and gold TO BLUE AND BLACK! Mind is now super boggled!

White (or blue-y white) and gold (or bronze). Every time. And perfectly hideous.
I'm a bit disappointed I can't see it any other way TBH. It's changed colour for some people.

In the two screenshots in this post, one is White and Gold, the other Blue and Black. I know it's the same dress and it's the light that has been played with, but they do not in anyway look the same in these two images. How anyone can say the first image is the same as the second is beyond me.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne my DS (7) sees white and gold as does my DP. I see blue and black but when I first saw it I thought it was baby blue and brown..then I squinted and it slowly changed to blue and black as I looked at it..

I can only see it as blue and black.

It changed before my very eyes!!! I thought i might be watching a gif and stared at it for ages waiting for it to change back!

I've seen both colours now, but I've worked out how....

If I click on a website and just the top half of the dress is showing on the front page, or I scroll down to halfway down the dress, I see white and gold. But if the picture I see shows the whole thing including bottom half, I can only see blue and black.

alsmutko, me too. I keep hoping to see the blue/black and never do!

That bloody Wired thing is a wind up. Looked at it before - the dress was gold and white. Clicked on the link again again to show DD, it was gold and white then changed in an instant to blue and black. It's obviously changing on a loop.

I see it as gold and white. Just asked ds1 (age 7) and he said gold and white. Asked ds2 (age 4) and he said blue and black!

As I type this, they're now arguing over the colour of it. They both think the other is trying to wind them up! It's quite funny :)

I have seen it as white and gold, black and blue, white and gold, black and blue and currently white and gold.
Same laptop, same light levels in room, same colour eyes. I still don't get it.

the designer said its blue and black so no argument from me i saw blue and black anyway

It's getting darker blue for me and browner rather than gold! I'm getting there!

So glad I'm not the only one who sees pale blue fabric and gold lacy bits!

Ds and I see blue and black, my 2 dds see white and gold.
