To think what he said in his sleep is evidence of an affair?

My husband has come back from a business trip this weekend having been in Latin America for the last two weeks. Last night in his sleep he was having a 'sexy dream' and I could hear him say things like 'muy bonita' and groining then he was saying' mi amor, mi amor' (My love).

I woke him up and confronted him, he claims that he cant remember the dream and he thinks the only thing it can be is because he has watched some soft porn in Spanish. What do you think?

Erm... People say a lot of weird crap in their sleep. I wouldn't pay any attention to it. It's certainly not "evidence".

Erm. I've had (two separate) dreams where I was having affairs with David Milliband and Dave Grohl. Both times, I apparently said their names in my sleep. Neither actually happened (thank god!). :)

SisterMerror - everything is fine otherwise yes. He did come home significantly more 'randy' than usual - which I think could be explained by the porn? But saying 'I love you and My love' but in Spanish - he wasn't talking to me :(

I really hope not! I can be very vocal in my sleep, if my husband took it seriously, I would have been divorced years ago I don't think you have much to be afraid of!

No he wasn't. He was talking to someone in his dreams. If you seriously expect him not to even dream of having sex with someone else you are being totally unreasonable. This is not even vaguely evidence of an affair. You are reading far too much into it.

I once said "Theo" in my sleep. I was dreaming about Theo Walcott . That took some explaining. I don't think for one second your DP is having an affair

Dreams are just that dreams.
Thank god they aren't real or I would think our house has serious structural defects as whenever DH is stressed he 'rescues me' from the roof caving in/wall falling over/floor disappearing.
DS & DH both natter away in their sleep and I've learnt to only listen if I want a good laugh most of the time they have no recollection the next morning.

I cant help feeling hurt though, I have dreamt of having sex with other people but I don't think I have ever said I love you to another man in my dreams.
