To think having children is not a right!

If you can't afford children thats just tough! IMO. We should abolish child benefit to be spent on real rights such as having something to eat and decent levels of sanitation. I would rather my hard earned tax went there than child benefit!!

happybubblebrain · 08/02/2015 17:22

We're having lobster. I'm not sure which benefit paid for it as I get so many.

PerpetualStudent · 08/02/2015 17:24

On desserts - why are coconut macaroons and meringue macaroons called the same thing when they're totally different?
Bought some delicious coconut macaroons to eat with my coffee this afternoon, tried to relay the story of this experience to my DP and we got well confused...

Oh, guess what OP - I'm a pregnant doctoral student - your taxes are paying for my gov-funded research and my child, hahaha

LineRunner · 08/02/2015 17:24

I can't be doing with dates in sticky toffee pudding.

AndyWarholsOrange · 08/02/2015 17:25

Oh apologies, yes it is spelled clafoutis. And that is indeed a picture of a clafoutis. I think my mum ordered a blackberry clafoutis

angeleyes72 · 08/02/2015 17:25

child benefit is what £18 ish for 1st child and £12 ish for subsequent dc. Hardly going to make a difference. Why not take away tax credits to than only rich people lilke yourselves can procreate. Society will be so much more civilised!!!! ysbu snd you know it.

angeleyes72 · 08/02/2015 17:25
