If you can't afford children thats just tough! IMO. We should abolish child benefit to be spent on real rights such as having something to eat and decent levels of sanitation. I would rather my hard earned tax went there than child benefit!!

We're having steak sandwich (baguettes) with blue cheese and mushrooms, and spinach salad. Followed by DD2's chocolate triple layer cake for dessert.

Has anyone ever had a clefutis? It's a kind of pancakey pudding. My mum ordered it in a posh restaurant and I got a fit of the giggles because it sounded (vaguely) like 'clitoris'.

I, ever hopeful will be attempting lemon chicken with cashew nuts, with noodles but also using up the three packets of mushrooms slowly becoming sentient in the back of the fridge.
