To tell you how I foiled one of those spready out men on the bus earlier?

I'm really quite pleased with myself and it was dead easy. I just sat slightly diagonally but still within the boundaries of my seat so when he started attempting to spread out his legs to air his bollocks he ended up with my bony knee stuck in his thigh with very little discomfort or contact to me. Then, when he moved his leg away I quite subtly stretched my legs ever so slightly into his space, I know this made me
just as bad as him but after years of being squashed into the window, thigh to thigh with a strange man it felt so sooo good. The best part was the slightly bewildered looks he kept throwing me as we trundled along, like that just wasn't the way things should have turned out. Grin

ARGH!!
I've just had an altercation with a man sat opposite (table seat) who insisted on putting his feet on mine! I said the "your boots are on my feet, we need to share this space" and he said we were. I pointed out that he was over in to my foot space and he then said never mind, he didn't really like my laptop being up. I asked why, he said it was obscuring his view. I looked down at my chest and said " your view of what?".
His shoes were still scuffing mine.
I've moved.

He now has two chairs and a table too himself. I'm going to take a photo for that site if I dare.

Vivacia he sounds like a complete knob.

By the way, did you write that post whilst live-at-the-table-scene from your laptop? Grin

(On my phone - I daren't MN on my work laptop!).

He ended up sat opposite a very big man and next to a mum and son. To give him his due, he didn't give in - ended up taking a newspaper out to read.

I'm on the bus home now. I'm trying the handbag-on-lap strategy with man next to me. He's either realised everyone has to Share This Space Fairly, on the handbag is working.

The first man that is, not the second
