tinned tomatoes one of the worst foods to eat

Just seen someone post that tinned tomatoes should never be eaten due to the BPA and the acidity of tomatoes meaning it leaches alot and is not safe for children to eat.

I had no idea tinned food contained plastic, aibu to cut right down on them? Often go through 12 cans a fortnight :(

OP, if you'd backed up your argument with some decent research, instead of some alarmist snake oil bloke, maybe people would be less likely to take the piss?

Mercola says a lot of stuff not based in fact - about food, about vaccinations, about the products he sells (he has a vested interest in making you scared of food, and has in the past been sanctioned for making untrue claims about his products and what they can do.

I'm just suggesting you read more widely, and from reliable sources.
