My mum insists she went to school with a Nora Bone

a girl from school called her daughter Chardonnay

I grew up with a Kandi

I once met a Jonelle (John Lewis brand name)

I know a Bunny

I had a client called Mrs Pussi

I worked with a court clerk called Patrick Law

(I can't decide out of Dwayne Pipes, Henrietta Dick or Kuhl Bir Shandi is the best - can we vote?)

avocadotoast · 27/01/2015 19:45

Dwayne Pipes is beautiful. I keep imagining a cartoon character with a lisp saying it.

Someone I know came across a client at their work who had got married and double barrelled their surname to Brown-Marks. Wonderful.

flora717 · 27/01/2015 19:49

Chianti & Chardonnay. Sisters who used a family centre I used to go to.
That's some lazy naming.

MyCarHasBrokenDownAgain · 27/01/2015 19:49

My grandad had a friend called Arthur Pye, and I knew of someone called Janet Spiss! Grin

CalicoBlue · 27/01/2015 19:50

Andrewofgg · 27/01/2015 19:59

Arthur Crowne?

Oh dear, you have to be an oldish fart to get that . . .

GoringBit · 27/01/2015 20:10

Going back to Strawberry, if anyone remembers El Dorado, the BBC's short lived Euro-soap, the flighty, flirty French wife (so not stereotypical at all) was played by a French actress called Framboise, which is French for raspberry. Maybe it was her stage name, or maybe the French don't faire une framboise...

ithoughtofitfirst · 27/01/2015 20:11

Ghenghis Khan Shock

m0therofdragons · 27/01/2015 20:13
