I have cats.

They go outside (as they should).

They probably shit I the neighbours garden but mostly they seem to shit in our garden.

I suspect they kill small furry animals too and I know they do as well as birds

As do lions, tigers, lynxes, snow leopards, blah blah.

I don't approve of "indoor" cats.

I cared quite a bit when I had to clean cat shit off my patio numerous times over the summer in early pregnancy. But hey, whats a bit of toxoplasmosis as long as your pet gets the freedom he deserves?

That's fine with me but bear in mind that I don't care about my canine killing machine's penchant for small furry animals that are stupid enough to enter her garden. 0-40mph in 6 strides means very little can outrun her.

Well, I haven't noticed her it before, but maybe she changes personality when it's about her cat. I have noticed that some catlovers
can be obsessive. The nasty attitude re. cats shitting in neighbours' gardens is very annoying indeed.

I don't have any pets and I don't like cats at all, but I would never harm any cat and if I came across an injured cat I would take it to a vet for treatment.
