To not care that my cat craps in neighbours gardens

Salmotrutta · 17/01/2015 21:08

I have cats.

They go outside (as they should).

They probably shit I the neighbours garden but mostly they seem to shit in our garden.

I suspect they kill small furry animals too and I know they do as well as birds

As do lions, tigers, lynxes, snow leopards, blah blah.

I don't approve of "indoor" cats.

Hate cats. Hate them.

Woahbodyforrrrm · 17/01/2015 21:24

Are you my neighbour??

They do shit in your neighbours garden.....a lot.

We send your cats crap straight back over your fence.

NewYearsHangoversHurtAlot · 17/01/2015 21:24

My garden my pets get priority. No pies here thank you (although I am partial to rabbit pie I wouldn't tell them that!)

I also love watching a cat get squirted with a high powered water pistol or hose. Great fun

hiddenhome · 17/01/2015 21:25

Does she have a teenager? This is the sort of thing they do I think.

GretnaGreen · 17/01/2015 21:25

PS I wouldn't be massively affronted if my neighbours returned my cat's pops, but I would require evidence that the poo they wanted to return belonged to my cat. JUSTICE.

Tinks42 · 17/01/2015 21:25

I dont have any animals...

I would never be horrible to them but i just dont want one.

If I had to choose between a dog or a cat, it would be a dog though.

Cats are very selfish creatures, what does that mean I wonder????

Cat's go wherever the grass is greener. Why women have these things I will never know.

GretnaGreen · 17/01/2015 21:25

*poos not pops. I think my phone is embarrassed by my frank talking.

AmarettoSour · 17/01/2015 21:25

It's definitely not in all cats best I getters to be allowed to roam. I have an indoor cat (condition of sale from her breeder) and if she was allowed outside I'd likely never see her again as she's a combination of super friendly and dumb as a box of rocks

usualsuspect333 · 17/01/2015 21:25

You have done it now, Salmo.

OttiliaVonBCup · 17/01/2015 21:26

The cats will always win though

Ha!
You should see all the Missing Cat posters on threes in pout street.

Seriouslyffs · 17/01/2015 21:26

I love cats. Really love them! Wouldn't have one as they either crap outside and kill birds or crap inside and stink the house out.

Salmotrutta · 17/01/2015 21:26

I might just shoot the rabbits and hedgehogs and voles and shrews that shit in my garden actually.

Those that the cats haven't murdered that is...

MrsWolowitz and LittleBairn - yes, you are right. I want attention.

See i don't get this condition of sale to breeders thing cat and dog owners do.

Surely once it's in your possession you can do what you want with it?

AmarettoSour · 17/01/2015 21:26

*interests

Not sure where I getters came from!

thornrose · 17/01/2015 21:27

Is that you Salmotrutta? Grin

usualsuspect333 · 17/01/2015 21:27

The cat haterz are whipped up into a frenzy.

OttiliaVonBCup · 17/01/2015 21:27

our street

lomega · 17/01/2015 21:28

Replies on this thread are exactly why cats should be kept indoors imo, if they are annoying people to the point of being subjected to cruelty, why would you not want to prevent that as a responsible pet owner? Confused

Guessing this is a goady thread though so I shalln't say anymore.

BoredChurch · 17/01/2015 21:28

The solution...

  • if you are bothered by cats crapping on your garden you can get one of these. It motion activated and shoots the cats with a jet of water. The cats really don't like it. I bought mine from Amazon - (the price goes up and down)

Anyway, thanks OP for the opportunity to tell everyone about it. Wink

Women that own cats in my opinion are very emotionally conditioned to expect jack shit in real life.

Like I said, cats go where-ever the grass is greener, they dont damn well care who feeds them as long as their fed, bit like an abusive bloke in my eyes.

Salmotrutta · 17/01/2015 21:30

Oh Lordy.

It's all usuals fault... Sad

as do lions, tigers, lynxes, snow leopards, blah blah

These animals are predators at the top of the food chain. Their numbers are restricted due to the availability of prey and the huge amount of energy they expend trying to catch it (often unsuccessfully). Natural food chains can only support a small number of top predators. The numbers of predators and prey reach a natural equilibrium.

Domestic cats don't have any pressure on their population due to lack of food. If they don't catch prey, they just go indoors and eat some more Felix. If they do eat their Felix, they still go and have fun with the local bird population.

Too many cats in one area can completely decimate the local bird population.
