To not care that my cat craps in neighbours gardens

I have cats.

They go outside (as they should).

They probably shit I the neighbours garden but mostly they seem to shit in our garden.

I suspect they kill small furry animals too and I know they do as well as birds

As do lions, tigers, lynxes, snow leopards, blah blah.

I don't approve of "indoor" cats.

I hope cats take over the country and force all the haterz to eat mice and use litter trays Grin

foreverdepressed · 17/01/2015 21:55

I have a dog which fortunately keeps the neighbours manky cats out of my garden. YABU nobody wants cat shit in their garden... I would chuck it back over the fence if I saw where it came from.

Salmotrutta · 17/01/2015 21:55

But a dog "loving its owner and being loyal" isn't a useful thing.

My cats love me and quite like DH and they are amusing.

Not useful but amusing.

Dogs do jobs that vegetarians might not like -hunting, herding, etc.

To be totally honest, I really do not like cats.... I did have a couple of kittens but got shot of them when they grew up. They are one of them most selfish animals I have ever come across in my life.

to answer that one above. I have never attention seeked in my life. I have opinions and say my piece.

MagratsHair · 17/01/2015 22:00

I have an indoor cat, one of the conditions that the shelter imposed when we rescued her was that she has to stay indoors. She is a breed that is well known for being dim and far too trusting.

Dear god, your cats do not love you, they dont have that capacity. They will go where ever suits them. A bit like abusive men really.

Selfish animals??

You do realise that it's survival instincts that drive animal behaviour Tinks ?

Hardly "selfish"!

Next doors cat keeps shitting in my drive then piles the gravel on top. I don't know why it doesn't just stick a flag in it and be done. Then my idiot dog eats it.

So it's cat crapping in gardens time again is it? Oh good, there's only been what, 5 threads at least on this subject already. Tho admittedly it's usually from the 'crapees' rather than the 'crappers'.

This will not end well...

Sparklingbrook · 17/01/2015 22:07

I haven't seen a cat crap thread for a few weeks so we're about due. A shoes on or off in the house one is actually overdue.

I saw a 'keep your filthy dogs on a lead' one this week so they are up to date.

Bowlersarm · 17/01/2015 22:08

If an unfortunate cat wandered into my garden, my dog would kill it.

Sad but true.

What about sitting at a cafe table before you've bought your food Sparkling? One of those threads is due about now.

FiddleDeDiddleDeDoo · 17/01/2015 22:10

Cocolepew post at 22.02. Best post ever!

Tinks42 · 17/01/2015 22:11

Im actually thinking that the OP and unusual are behaving in a very strange manner recently on here also...

Do you think they may actually be drinking their beloved cat urine?

cate16 · 17/01/2015 22:11

If you have an indoor cat- does it just not want to go out?, or do you have to physically keep it indoors with all windows and doors shut all the time?

Our cat has become a more or less self imposed indoor cat, which I'm more than happy about, but she does go out for about 5mins a day. (not to shit in next doors garden I might add)
