to hate frozen

it's time for it to go away. never liked the songs, found the movie boring. a year later and it's stilll everywhere, frozen parties, frozen toys, people quoting frozen songs saying "let it go" all the time, frozen everything. every conversation with someone with kids in the age range to like it has frozen in it. so, so tired of hearing it mentioned.

i remember there being hype over moves when i was a kid, but not lasting over a year.

it seems socially unacceptable to hate frozen, so iam prob being u, but there must be some ppl here who share my view?

Am pissing myself at lesbian Elsa. I mean, if Disney want a lesbian princess that's absolutely fine with me, it's just that Elsa ain't it. But I do love how desperate people are to twist any tiny thing round to suit their own agenda. Why wait for an actual lesbian Disney princess when you can invent your own?

Maybe because my dc are boys, i didn't get to be a victim of the frozen craze. Film itself isn't too special.

I like Anna, but Elsa is a really bad role model!

YANBU The song is shrill and painful.
The awful flammable dress the girls wear.
Rosa and Anna are conventionally beautiful and the American ideal.
I like the jungle book for the songs but don't get me started on the rest of crap that Disney peddles.

Saw it for the first time on a plane yesterday. Thought it was ok, but I don't get why all the little kids want to be Elsa - is it because she's blonde and has a prettier dress? And "Let it go" seems to have a different meaning in context in the film than when it's sung (endlessly) elsewhere.

Haven't seen it. The animation style is so ugly and their buggy eyes, staring at me from the boxes of tacky Chinese made merchandise, is enough to put me off.

It'll die off soon and the car boots and landfills will be full of trashy blue plastic shit!

I quite like the film. The story is simple but it's sweet. However, I can't stand the singing. It's so screechy and shouty, I can't believe anybody considers it tuneful.
I think the mania is self perpetuating because of commerce, bakers and children's party entertainers cashing in.
