DS is 12 and lives with his dad. For Xmas he asked me for money. Originally it was going to be 200 pound. However, he's been a complete sod, hasn't been in school for 4 weeks, when he was in he was disruptive. He's sent me message telling me to fck off and he's carved "d@ckhead" in the side of my dp van. We've had no apology from him and the rudeness just keeps in coming.
Am I being unreasonable to give him half of what I told him he would get? Due to his behaviour and attitude?

I'm off to collect him shortly, his dad has once again pissed off on holiday and left him with his alcoholic grandfather for Xmas!! Without even letting me know!!

To say I'm furious is an understatement! I considered having the police go round and check on him but he assured me he's fine for an hr or so till I can get to him and if he needs anything he's going to go to my mums.

I've let rip at exs solicitor and informed social services.

We're off shopping and to have cuddles.

DS has just told me "it's ok, he's cutting it short an coming home on Xmas eve" I've checked flight times and there is a flight when he says.
I'm just at a bloody loss with this fella I swear. Social services weren't much help either, he was with an adult and that's all they were bothered about. This is the second time his holiday has now come before his children, I hope the courts throw te bloody book at him.
