Re: hotel complaint. I was mid-post and it went poof! Am I looking in the wrong section?

Liftzilla was fairly recent, and the thread(s) got deleted. It started as a colleague who took lifts to work, from the OP, but didn't pay her way. The OP tried to end the arrangement, and Liftzilla started ringing and texting her, and wouldn't take No, for an answer.
Then management got involved, gave the OP a week off, paid stress leave... And 'temporarily dismissed' Liftzilla Wink
You get the picture... It looked like a thread that started out as a real situation, possibly, but got embroidered, to say the least.

I'd like to point out I called it. Moaning they wouldn't give her water. Wtaf

Thanks jill not the one I'm thinking of then.

i didn't think troll about the hotel one, I just thought the poster was a bit of a delicate flower and a self-absorbed catastrophiser, who quite possibly hadn't stayed in many hotels in her life. I think she expected three nights in a Travelodge to be like Hotel Babylon with a very helpful concierge at her beck and call. Grin

You're welcome Smile.
I only glanced really at the hotel one, it was a bit overly detailed, which made me wonder about it being made up.

I almost wish I had the imagination to think of something to start a thread about Wink!

I don't get the thrill behind poo trolling. What sort of thrill is there to be got in writing about poo on a forum primarily composed of mothers who have changed millions of nappies between them and aren't going to be in the least bit shocked?

i have a screenshot of the ebay "phonecall denouement" if anyone is desperate!

ginslinger · 18/12/2014 08:20

And another one? 'Gut is saying he is cheating'

What I don't get about troll threads is - why delete the harmless ones? What difference does it make if someone has made something up? We're really just discussing a hypothetical scenario, so what's the problem?
