I read it and was skeptical. I would much rather someone posted that they were a bit bored or lonely or whatever and just wanted to chat rather than making up some ridiculous lies.

Sometimes I prefer the made up threads though much more fun than another shoes off in the house thread.

Did the OP update after the phone call in the eBay thread? I'm curious what she would have said happened. I hope she did and it was suitably outrageous!

My rule of thumb for detecting trolls dodgy threads is the point at which I think "Who on earth would DO this?" Then I sit back and realise that, in fact, no one would. Hence troll.
